Screw scalpers! And thank goodness Ninty finally saw the light and decided not to region-lock. My wife picked one up locally last night (there were 3 in a video rental place, that also happens to sell games and stuff) in Japan. Checked the bank account to see how I made out on price vs exchange rate... and the thing cost me $293.50! Ha! Go to hell, all you a$$ holes that are charging $400+ on Amazon and Ebay :ha:

Already have a US version of BotW. Not that it should matter... Seems the Japanese version has Japanese and English. US version has English, French, and Spanish. If I knew that just 2 days ago, I probably would have not picked up the US one and told her to get the Japanese version. Oh well...

The US version has Japanese, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Russian. I'm looking at it now.

I don't understand what you mean by "Locally" though if you imported it from Japan? Unless you are in Japan? In that case then, I envy you! Nippon goo!

Loved playing BotW with the Spanish Castillan dub and it makes me glad that I played this way because the English dub is a bit appalling. It didn't sound like the voice actors/actresses did their best for the roles.

US military bases sell US stuff. And as I said, I didn't realize that the Japanese version of the game had English... That is usually not the case.
Ahh, now I get it...

Noooooooooooooooooooo!

True fact of life :(

I don't know why it happened, but it sounded like Ladybeard was forced out. So the girls formed The Idol Formerly Known As Ladybaby. And then just now I discovered Ladybeard formed a new act of his own called Deadlift Lolita that just released its first music video.

The fact that I'm listening to Rhythm Paradise Gigamix right now made me crack up as I was reading this.

Until I get home, all I have to go on is what's on the game case. There's no indication of anything other than English, French, and Spanish. If it has everything, then cool! :grog:

And to further clarify the "Locally" part, military stores aren't exactly on the priority list to get new stuff for some reason, so it will be a long while before I see a switch on the shelf (right now they may get 3 or 4 at a time, and hold a raffle or something to see who gets to buy one)

and... exchange rate: My bank is US based, so there is a conversion when I buy something out in town, that naturally has a price tag in Yen...

It has everything, except Japanese. If you see the rating logo ESRB/PEGI then that means it's either an American/Canadian or European release. CERO is for Japan but I'm guessing you know all this anyway.
