Has anyone figured out a way of unlocking the 900 Korok seeds by editing a save?

Honestly, I really don't want to spend a month collecting these stupid things for the literal piece of shit you get as a reward, but they equate to 72% of the completion meter because someone at Nintendo apparently thought that was a good idea.

I lolled.

Can't you just play the game?

I mean it's a piece of shit, why do you want it so bad?

I'm not sure if someone has, but you should be able to poke around in caffeine and figure out which variable is the korok seed. You'd have to dump the ram after getting a lot of korok seeds - and see which value is going up.

The good part of getting the Korok Seeds are the exploration factor. Since you explore more thanks to looking for them.

Sorry to say so, but if you don't like exploration, why simply ignore the Korok seeds at all? You won't need many spaces in the inventory anyway.

That's the thing. I don't want to just change the number, I want to actually mark them as collected on the map. I assume a flag is set for each one in a save file.

It's not that I don't like exploration, considering the first thing I did was hit every tower and I'm almost done every shrine. It's that 900 collectables is ridiculously stupid game design, even if there was a cool reward, and the reward we get for getting all of them is literally useless.

If there were even only like 300, I would probably just do them but 900 is straight up ridiculous. I know I don't need the inventory slots but I was just curious if it could be done, since I'm sure it can be, I just don't know where to start to figure it out.

Now that sounds awesome.

I am hoping for some skullkid based DLC in future where you have to locate him at various places and do twisted OOT/MM themed shrines or something.
Well, I look at Mario Kart 8's DLC for hope that BOTW will have insane Dragonborn/Undead Nightmare tier DLC. A man can hope :(

I hope Nintendo adds 900 Gold Skulltula in a patch and makes it 1% of the completion meter, just for you.
Yes, because that makes a lot of sense.

OK. Then do everything else by yourself, then download someone's 100% save.
Nah, that's stupid.

Use the BOTW Trainer, you can pretty much do anything you want in real time. Simply run TCP Gecko, then boot the game, load your save game, and when your in-game boot the trainer and connect to your Wii U using the trainer and your Wii U local IP. Then press Load items, go to Key items and change the number of Korok seeds in your inventory, then press Save in the trainer. Done.

That's not at all what I wanted.

Is there anyway to reset korok seeds in BOTW save editor,I missclicked on Get All instead of Add pins to map. Now I can't collect korok seeds anymore. Also Hetsu won't do anything even I already have 900 korok seeds..
