Gaming "Square Enix considering which titles to port over to Switch"

Music to my ears cause when I bought the Switch I gambled that is going to be the JRPG platform of choice for this generation (I love JRPG's) since in my mind the Switch is going to replace the 3DS and is going to sell extremely well Japan and we all know Japanese gamers love JRPG's.

If Square can lead an example of great RPG's ports to the Switch combined with new titles, it'll create healthy competition for other companies such as Namco, Atlus and Nintendo itself to port or makes great JRPG's for the console and being a handheld we can assume some 3DS/DS era JRPG's coming back as a IP refresh or remake.

I have not been happy with SE's jrpgs as of late. Least the ones they've developed themselves. Their other games however I'd love to see.

On that note, stuff I want to see on the switch:

Dissidia: Final Fantasy (the 2015 arcade version)
Dragon Quest Builders
Nier: Automata
Life is Strange

Well, as a diehard Kingdom Hearts fan, I would love it to see 1.5 + 2.5 on the Switch again.

Kingdom Hearts (PS2)
Kingdom Hearts II (PS2) x2
Kingdom Hearts 1.5 ReMIX (PS3)
Kingdom Hearts 2.5 ReMIX (PS3)
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep (PSP)

But I would by it just for the Switch all again.

Same, last great Square RPG was FF X for me (I have a PS3 for that)...FF XIII was alright.

I sure wouldn't mind a FF IX (remake), FF XII The Zodiac Age, Nier Automata or Dragon Quest Builders port for the Switch.

I would love to have FFXV/KH3 on Switch but I'm 99% sure that the console is not powerful enough to run them even with a minor downgrade.

What I would like to see is all classic FF and DQ games, FFXV complete, FFVII remake, all future round based JRPGs. And a new round based Estopolis / Lufia game. And Chrono Trigger 3D + a Chrono Cross remake.

It's more possible than you might think. It uses Unreal Engine 4 which is available for the Switch - Snake Pass uses it. Here's hoping.
