Good day ladies and gentlemen!

Sorry to bother you guys, but I need some help with launching Haxchi. I'm pretty much desperate because I am looking for threats with a similar problem for a while now and couldn't find any hint. :/ I am using a black Wii U with newest firmware.

Problem:
- All data up-to-date prepared on a SDXC 64Gb (10), FAT32 formated with 32kb and 64kb clustersize (both tried) according to https://github.com/FlimFlam69/WiiUTutorial/wiki/0:-Starter-Pack
- Haxchi v.2.5u2 installed via "Pokemon Ranger", using the webbrowser exploid (Homebrew Channel 1.3, using 1.4 makes my system to crash)
- launching Haxchi after a restart of Wii U ends in a Haxchi Screen which becomes and stays black for over 20min until I decide to shut the system down by force.
- more information: no USB-devices plugged in and every program installed on the system internal memory, used a wide variety of config.txt files (and notepads), nothing much installed on the Wii U except of a few games/saves.

- my SD-card:
file:haxchi
file:install/homebrew_launcher_channel.v2.1
file:wiiu/apps/(many files + haxchi, homebrew_launcher, wupinstaller and appstore)
boot.elf

Thank you so much for your precious help. :D

And did you actually PURCHASE "Pokemon Ranger" from the E-Shop?

Freshly purchased from the E-shop a week ago and reinstalled (deleted and downloaded) once. :/

@Felek666: I've kept working stricly according to the Tutorial/guide mentioned above. Maybe I misunderstood a thing?

SD card is the weak link here i reckon.

That was one of my first ideas, too. Although I could see every homebrew on the SD card and could also start the homebrew shop to check for updates.

Though I've got only 2 microSD (32Gb) left and that's not suitable for a RedNAND inatallation of a black Wii U I assume?
Hmm... any idea what brand of the SD card (64Gb) I shall buy?

You don't strictly need a RedNAND. I have the 8GB model and don't use one. I just CBHC into Mocha (because fuck keeping FTPii Everywhere open all the time) and you could use Haxchi for the same thing.

SanDisk Ultra and Samsung Evo cards are both great, pick whichever is cheapest.
But you really don't need redNAND. It serves little purpose for the average user.

So just implementing Haxchi in Pokemon Ranger and starting it every time I want to use homebrew is enough? I am planning to use the y-WUPinstaller for adding a few encrypted Software, so I think I just have to start Haxchi + pressing the appropriate button for starting homebrew channel or WUPinstaller according to the alterable code in config.txt would do the magic?

Yes.
You would start CFW first, then wupinstaller (it's required to do it this way if you're installing titles with fake tickets such as eShop exclusives and DLC)

At first: THANK YOU for your help! I will give it a try when I get back home.

One Little question left: once the titles are installed via wupinstaller, is it necessary to start CFW each time before launching a game e.g.?

Only if you have a fake ticket for the game, update or DLC.

I'm back with a 16GB Transcend (10) SDHC and nothing has changed :/ Same problem with Haxchi! Maybe it's because of some data installed (game and save data from Mario Maker, Hyrule Warriors, MH3U and Xenoblades X)? Or maybe it's because of Pokemon Ranger? But it should have been tested and used before... >->

Addition: I've set the whole Wii U to the start point, deleting all the software installed... and prepared everything step by step... same error :/ Sorry guys, I am totally out of ideas... anybody has a clue?

ok to reduce the issue , Do all homebrews work whilst your exploit entry point is a web exploit ??

I've only tried/run Haxchi and the homebrew shop. What homebrew shall I try? I've got a few on the SD card prepared but I doubt it would make a problem running haxchi, would it?

no my point is to prove the SD card by using it . So install apps from the store .. etc etc.. prove the card is working ok . which then 100% leaves with a haxchi issue if successful.
