Hi,

I'm really balanced between both and have read both reviews.
But can't really decide.

For the shape, I really prefer the K101.

I also come across another clone : Gamebox which I added to the pool.

Would those clones work with Everdrive GBA or EZ Flash IV ?

Finally I bought an AGS-101 for 70 bucks incl. shipping to Europe.

It has plenty of scratches on the case but I bought a NES classic housing for it.

Still I'd be glad to get some feedback on the clones.

I've read around that the clones mostly have funky buttons. They do not feel the same and regularly break. With your housing swap, watch the volume slider. On my motherboard, the slider wasn't removeable. It's permenintly off now.

I have a k101 plus and it's okay, but I would recommend a psp over it. The build quality isn't great and the screen is the wrong resolution so it looks blurry unless you shrink the image. The screen is nice and vibrant, though. There's actually no ghosting like with the legit ags-101.

It'd be a solid buy for $50, but at the current price the psp will serve you better.

I have the K1 sp it's ok but the buttons are a bit clunky and like all clones and fake shells it feels a bit cheap and has issues with multiboot making it impossible to flash a cart. I prefer my original sp with my old F2A cart it's a better experience even with the frontlight.

I agree, the feel of the plastics and buttons are different. So I use an original SP with an old EZFA...soon to be retired for an ED X5.

I have K101 but it does have some issues, such as the cart not being detected and the power button doesnt always work. I have found that there is a ranamed k101 model out there and people have got some sort of linux working on it like some of the old dingoo handhelds...

If you can get the parts, I would personally get a OG GBA and modify it with a 101 screen
