Before anything, I have to state I'm a bubble-blowing baby and, even though I've looked for about an hour and a half for an answer, I've yet to get my question answered.

Can you install the homebrew channel rpx to sysNAND? Not just that, but I also have a couple more questions.

- How do I know if I'm in MochaCFW when I load it? Just by the splash screen?
- What tool do I use to install the rpx file?

I know nooby questions, but that's what I am to the Wii U Homebrew area. :P

- What tool do I use to install the rpx file? WUP Installer Y MOD is pretty good for this purpose. Although you just don't install plain .rpx files, they must be packed as a installable format along with aditional files or banners.

I have another question. I did install something (The Homebrew Launcher/Channel) but when trying to launch from sysNAND causes an error and makes me power off my console.

Would it launch in Mocha CFW? (I also installed it after booting MochaCFW)

Would this happen if I, persay, installed Mario Kart 8 WUD? I mean, I can't anyways, but just curious :/

Yes it would. The reason it doesn't work is because the program you installed (Homebrew Launcher) wasn't built using official tools, and as such it relies of a fake "ticket." It is because of this ticket that the program does not launch, unless you are in a CFW (e.g. Mocha, Haxchi) that patches the checks on these tickets. This is known as a "signature patcher."

It depends on whether the Mario Kart image you try to install is a disc rip or an eShop download. eShop downloads will only work on the same console it was purchased on, unless you have signature patches active. If it comes from a disc image, signature patching firmwares are not necessary. The tickets that come from disc images are both correctly signed by Nintendo, and work on all systems. Such a ticket is known in this community as a "legit" ticket.

Thank you all for your help! I hope a sort of signature patch work-around could exist soon ^-^

If you mean being able to patch signatures, there are several solutions. If you look on the Homebrew App Store, there is even an app called "Simple Signature Patcher." This is likely the easiest to use for plain signature patching, but there are also other options, including Haxchi and Mocha CFW, which are more complicated, but do more as well (redNAND, filesystem browsing, etc.)

Wow 0-0 the Wii U Homebrew scene seems to be moving quite quickly. Doesn't this mean that signature patches aren't important, so either does wether the game is an eShop download or a disk dump.

I'm sure I'd still have to install it through MochaCFW, but still.

Correct. You do not need signature patches as long as you are installing your own eShop downloads or a disc dump, nor do you need signature patches to actually install these titles (you will need CFW in order to dump the disc, but wudump and disc2app handle this for you, all you have to do is launch it).
