I'm using gateway for about 3 years or so. I've done a9lh thing from gateway website using their tools and tutorial long ago. It's working well BUT recently I wanted to play some gba games but this is not supported on gateway. So I thought I would change to Luma3DS, but honestly I don't know where to start. Everyone point to a Plailect's A9LH guide that does not mention anything about installation when I've already got the gateway a9lh. So my question is: How to properly change from gateway3ds a9lh to Plailect's a9lh method?
I don't want to screw my 3ds.

My current setup:
O3DS with gateway a9lh emunand on 11.2

I've got nand.bin on sd card in 3ds which was probably created at some point in installation gateway a9lh, but I have no clue what this nand copy is.
If this is before all of this so this should be backup of 4.5, but dunno.

EDIT:
I've tried to run decrypt9 but didn't work. With homebrew launcher got black screen and after a few secconds it is going back to homebrew launcher menu. Launcher.dat method also do nothing but black screen on boot 3ds.

Go into the Gateway menu (boot the console without Gateway inserted) and go to Downgrade I think it is, then hold Up while selecting it. That will flash your NAND backup on the root of your card (NAND.bin).

@Quantumcat Hell yeah! It worked! I was able to restore my 4.4.0-6E backup. Just installed Luma3DS cfw and it's working flawless! GBA games are now playable. Thank you very much!

Can I format my SD card to "remove" emuNAND partition? I copied it to sysNAND so I won't be using it probably. Or is it better to keep that?
And last one: Now I'm running 11.2 to keep gateway payloads working as long as I won't upgrade my sd card to something bigger than 8GB. Which folders I need to keep on? There were a lot of them in installation process, and I don't want to lose something important. Already got copy of nand.bin from ctrtransfer folder and otp.bin. What about else? Which files are required to get this cfw running?

Sorry for a lot of newb questions, but Im more into vita scene than 3ds, and I was always using gateway only.
Also sorry for my engrish. ;D

If you're using Gateway, keep your emuNAND. Last thing you want is to accidentally boot Gateway in 11.3 sysNAND and have your CFW erased and be stranded in 11.3 :-)
If you want to get rid of your emuNAND (if you're no longer using Gateway) ten follow the optional section in the installing arm9loaderhax page called "Move emuNAND". It will take care of getting rid of the emuNAND partition.

When Im using emuNAND with gateway and then switch to sysNAND with Luma, all icons are messed, out of folders, etc... If I won't be updating to 11.3 for a while can I just use sysNAND with gateway safely?
I copied some files from emuNAND sdcard to other one to try sysNAND gateway mode and it's working so far, one thing that is not working are gba games (reboot to luma helps).
I have a lot of .3ds games and don't want to redownload them in .cia format. Also installing them is incredibly time consumming or is there some quick way? And what about saves? Is there a way to inject gateway .sav files into .cia installed game?

You can use emuNAND with Luma. Hold Select on boot and tick options that boot emuNAND.
