Did a trial endgame run, I've got about 70+ in both shrines and korok seeds, freed all the divine beasts, and beat Ganon. But then I get this snide undercutting comment from Zelda grilling me whether I remember her or not (sorry Zelda you'll get nowhere with that attitude, Mipha will always be my true love)...and I was 1 picture short so I'm going back to complete the memory stuff and do some more exploring/shrine clearing.

So I'm doing a little retrospective on the game and what it brought to the series and the world of videogames. As a kid who grew up on the 8 bit and 16 bit zelda back in the 80s and 90s...to this! Wow, so many similarities, but such amazing advancement in creating a real immersive world. I've played fallout 3, skyrim, but this one takes the cake for playability and polish, along with a charming, magical gameworld.

We'll get some DLC it seems. Due to its success, we may even see another game in a few years like Majora's Mask (same engine, maybe beefed up for switch a bit since this one was made for wii u). But the real next step, the one that will be coming in another 5 years...the one that will once again change EVERYTHING...

ZELDA VR! Either on a new console, or an upgraded switch+ console with VR handled the same way the smartphones do it.

What's YOUR prediction for the future of the Zelda series?

SS is actually one of my favorite games ever, mostly because of motion controls
But still, VR is not an option for me
I'm ok with people liking it but I don't share the same enthusiasm

Switch is not powerful enough for VR. If you believe Gabe Newell or Palmer Luckey, that is.
If you believe Samsung, it'll be just fine.

I think most people are in the Newell/Luckey camp on this one.

Well it's already known that Nintendo submitted this with all the other Switch patents, so only time will tell...

Since we're getting a "Sonic Adventure" themed Mario game, how about a "Mass Effect" themed Zelda game, set in a futuristic Hyrule?
I'd like that. Nearly every Zelda game mentions an ancient civilization but all that is left is their stonework machines. I want to see a game placed when that civilization is in it's heyday.
