You forgot about your own mobile app? Maye should just call it a experimental project, it seem more like just a small tool, not as useful as the pc one.:ninja:
Well it's not experimental, it works, it just that's it's not very popular so I kinda put it aside to focus more on the desktop app.

Is popular enough to me, you know people do like using android tv, it does use HDD to store data unlike standard android phone/tablets :)

Makes downloading this stuff easier and able to store it a lot more reasonable. Not that the pc app isn't any different but like you said, download on the go, very reasonable. :P

Why take a full scale computer to friend house, when you can take your android there and do much of the same? :D

Plus not everyone has a PC but most people have an android device of some sort.

Well it just depends i guess. I have nvidia shield tv, and tablet i use more than my pc, cause is not as slow as my 2012 pc. Also it has a fan issue that makes it hard to use unless the room is cold. Or it overheats and "Thermal Shutdown" Besides i got 500GB on my android. Really hope to get new laptop this year, hope i can play game on it. Never buying HP brand again. :glare:

I like this app and use it, pretty useful for small or VC titles < 250 mb.

It's not being able to find my Wii U lately tho.

Can this still be used for big games? I know it's not recommended, but I don't have a computer with which to use this. If I use Wi-Fi, will it be ok?

EDIT: Is there a way to enable write access to the external sd card? Forgot that Android allows programs to write to a designated folder in the external sd card.

Yes it can be. But i guess unless you have a specific firmware that allows writing to other devices. (anything before kitkat 4.1 or nougat 7.0) You would need root access to have write permissions. That is also why the app has built in ftp, to wireless transfer games with, just use the wup installer that is in his signature. :P

Ok, so I uploaded the game to my SD card, but for some reason, I can't select the game in the install title selector. It just gives me install/. and install/..

Fix your permissions, perhaps? Something might be blocking like a system app so you might never know.

triple checked.
Read my last edit, theres no upload to wii either and it doesnt seem self updating, and yeah its unstable since downloads can for unkown reasons stop downloading, if so you just try it until it completes...

Cant download at all if I doesnt use the recommended place either.

edit: ah i see press to upload. but still the app keeps crashing and stops downloading every game randomly. Ive checked wifi settings etc and other things that might interfere. lolipop lenovo tab 3. It works sometimes though and its been a saver since my computer broke.

But I was able to hack my first wii u just using this tablet and this tool, despite the issues its been a great lifesaver. Just got my 2tb drive so it will hold quite some games..

You're sure you're not running out of RAM? Applications which eat more can be automatically killed by system itself.

Im pretty sure that is not the issue, but to be sure, ill format my tablet and try since its in need of formatting anyways.
Just got the same result the app stopped uploading smash to the wii u around 50%..
The app dont crash but, I cant use anything inside, things like download or delete the downloaded material.

How do I install IOSUHAX?
which version and how should i use since the transfer tool says to enable it.

IOSUHax is in Mocha CFW and [atleast nodes of it] are in Haxchi and CBHC.

But the speed hack is only available in Mocha CFW (not in haxchi cfw/cbhc).

I tried using this last night and it had odd behavior, in my opinion. I was transferring Wind Waker from my phone to my Wii U using this app and Wii U USB Transfer Helper whatever tool on the Wii U. It took me a minute to figure out how to queue the upload (a sentence above the Game button telling me to hold it down to do an upload wasn't very intuitive. I was looking for the upload button that used to exist). Then it created the Android notification that would usually show me the transfer progress.

The first time I tried doing it, USB Transfer Tool on the Wii U said "Connecting to application...". After about what felt like 10 minutes, it timed out and notified me it couldn't connect (everything is on the same network, same subnet, no intranet firewall). I re-installed the Android app and tried again. This time the Wii U said "Connecting to application...", it disappeared for a split second, then continued to tell me it was connecting. I ended up canceling the transfer after 5 minutes. I ended up downloading an FTP program on my phone and uploaded via a version of FTP U.

My question is, does the program on the Wii U give you any notification that the game is uploading to the SD card or are notifications and progress unique to the mobile device? I ask this because before I was able to upload via FTP (after attempting with your programs) I noticed the Wind Waker folder already had some files populated in it (and proper size, not just place holders or 0 kb files). I know this worked just fine with the version I used previously. Thanks!
