Gaming Give and ye shall receive! BOTW Korok seed tip *spoiler*

I always stole apples from idol shrines. but on a whim I put apples in them like I had seen in Kakariko village, and I got a korok seed! found another shrine and did the same, got another seed, so hopefully this is consistent over the game world and I can get some of those very korok seed expensive slots later in the game (when you've already gotten a fair number of extra slots)

There are apple and hard-boiled egg bowls, pinwheel, random floating balloon, acorn, rock-in-hole, boulder-in-hole, dive-in-hole, rock-in-well, matching cube OOP art, twinkle trails, under rock, matching rock, completion rock, and a couple other puzzles I'm sure I havent found yet.

I think I have about 150/900 seeds.

it is and they aren't always apples. i didn't find this out till later too. now there's a few of the shrines that are still out there and i can't remember where they fucking were...

There's also tree sets where you have to take the apples until the trees match, bombable places where you find them inside (often under a rock), camouflaged iron doors hiding them underneath, burnable leaf piles, wooden stumps where you have to race to another location before the timer runs out... many many many puzzles to find them in.

there's also
run to the spot before time runs out , put the rock in the log, follow the trial, 1-5, underwater rock and rock under the lid.

Note that if you are on horseback, be sure to get off your horse from a distance because otherwise the horse may eat one of the apples.
I remember there being one but except for apples it's rusty shields and it's in the middle of a field patrolled by two active Guardians. Fun times.

It was pretty obvious that the gap needed to be filled with another apple. After the Korok appears, you can take all the apples back.
I have 663/900 Korok seeds and counting.
