I have this problem since day 1 on SUn moon: using V16 and V32 for SUn and Moon from freeshop, region free version-english in-game language , my O3DS is US region ver since the day i buy it from the shop in a box. The problem is all the pokemon i catch in my Sun moon game shows "Japan" 3DS region when their sub region is still California as usual on the hex, therefore i have to change them all back to United states ( where it suppose to be), beside from that, there's a very few error warning that has been change to japanese, like when someone disconnected from an online battle or after i receive a gift, i mean this i can take but the Pokemon i catch got wrong region is the big deals,if i use Hex to fix that, they would probably not be able to do rating battles anymore, if i dont, probably i would get trouble with pokemon with wrong region like that. ANyone have same issue like me?

I try and edit pokemon onto my save file but it gives me an alert: 'Invalid encounter' when I try and create it. It won't go away, no matter what. How do I fix this?
In the "Met" tab in PKHex make sure you check the "As egg" box or set it as a Fateful encounter. Or look up the Pokemon you're genning in Serebii and find a valid encounter then set it accordingly.
Okay, so I've done that, saved to the the SD card, imported it back into the game, but the pokemon won't show up.
You probably accidentally didn't save some where? Try again. If you can't get it to work, message me what you're trying to make and I'll try to make it for you when I get off of work in about 3 hours.
I need 3 of each pokemon I'm about to list, all of them (except one, which will have a *) will hold a Master Ball. The exclusive one will hold a Pearl String.

Edit: Okay I made one of each Pokemon on the list. You can basically duplicate them by Setting them in a blank slot. I made 2 Cosmog level 15 one from Moon and one from Sun. You can edit anything on these Pokemon just don't mess with the encounter tab. Also make sure you use moves these Pokemon can learn legally to use them legally.
Also don't forget to set your name and ID and reroll the PID and Memories.

I'm still a bit of a newbie to PKHex, I've been using it the past few days and while it is a lot of fun I'm trying to be as careful as possible for fear of a ban.
I have two questions:
1. Let's say I have a transferred legendary event Pokemon in my Sun PC box, it's totally legit and was transferred over from 4th gen Heart Gold. I would like to simply alter it's IVs to be a perfect 31 in each stat, should I be copying that Pokemon data first (making a duplicate) and reroll it's PID and Encryption Constant OR should I just edit the actual Pokemon's stats without duplicating it (or doing any rerolls)? would really appreciate the help as there is no "Legit!" green tick provided for old gen Pokemon.
2. Can Nintendo/Game Freak check my items in my boxes and team slots or ban me for owning illegal items offline? I wonder because I'm dying to try out a few of the unreleased ORAS mega stones (not online of course) due to missing out on ORAS and only playing XY last gen.
Would appreciate the help.

1. according to some notes in Bulbapedia EC is somehow connected to the IVs among other things. I suggest that you re-roll PID/EC after making changes.
2.Well depends on many factors. Mainly if you use gamesync, most bans from this wave were connected to this feature. everytime you connected to internet your save would be sync with nintendo servers. having a unreleased items was listed as a reason for getting ban. If you do use gamesync keep changes at minimum. we believe that it might be safe to edit pokemons as long as you are not editing those in battle boxes.

i want to alter my save file into all items and technical machines in a map have been picked, but there is no ways to do that in Pkhex.

Not sure if any has asked this... But will support for custom abilities come in a future release? Because I can't type custom abilities for pokemon at the moment.
You need to rename pkhex.exe to pkhax.exe this will unlock full hacks modifications.
Is this method confirmed to work on Sun/Moon? Will this method Successfully transfer a physical Sun save to a digital copy without corruption?
yuppers, you can transfer your save data from any physical 3ds game to their digital counterpart without corruption and vice versa. just use JKSM.cia if you have CFW or the 3dsx version if you have homebrew.
Note: I believed that if you have the homebrew channel only you need pokebank or poke-transporter.
