Ordered a grey one yesterday for my Switch so it should arrive within 1-2 weeks time. My WiiU GamePad has pretty much always had a silicone case on it and it made gaming on it more comfortable, and firmer to hold it.

Not sure it'll fit when sticking it in the dock, something I'll have to verify when I get it myself. I just don't want the Switch to get any dents, marks or scratches around its body if I can avoid it. :)

I could have gone with a crystal shell-case instead but those cost way more and it's just something not that essential for the Switch if you take good care of it.

Unless you have a unicorn dock that bends out instead of in the chances of it fitting are slim. I like the idea but not so sure how convenient it will be to "Switch" on/off.

My other concern for any gel skins for the Joyless Cons are how flat the + and - are. I really suck at combat and have fast access to the + for a pause to strategize is critical for me. Afraid there would be to many misses.

Look forward to your review.

Still the same thing, its still a cover that will stick to your original Switch, if the silicone one does it this will!. I think I may have the wrong thread but I'm sure a company did a recall on these?

Note: Op was talking about a soft case for his switch, not a decorative decal sticker.
I'm not talking about a sticker, if you read Eurogamer.net it tells you not to put a Silicone Vinyl Skin on your Switch. It is a Skin hes got it wrong, its not an actual case, if it was how would it fit on as a whole product, its got to be flexible.

This seems perfect for people that don't use the dock, or primarily use handheld mode.

You're sadly misremembering what type of sticker caused the previous problem. It was a vinyl sticker.

Secondly, the creator of the thread wasn't talking about a sticker at all. They were talking about a case, not a sticker.

silicone skins make it very hard pressing the buttons on the switch. especially the lowered ones. i would cancel the order if i were you. you will throw it away anyway

yea thats why he needs to make a full review on this product for the community
I'll be sure to point out the pros and cons of a silicone case. An obvious one is the Joy-Cons being on and off so this case will be better off for people who play the Switch in portable mode only (with the Joy-Cons strapped to it).

The silicone case I got for my WiiU GamePad was well worth it and never had any holes, rips or whatever. Cheap but durable. :)
