Super Mario Run is releasing on Android March 23rd

Nintendo of America announced earlier today via Twitter that the mobile game Super Mario Run will hit the Android marketplace on March 23rd. It's been possible to pre-register for a while now but the release date was finally announced.

According to the Tweet, the game comes with the 2.0.0 update. Like the iOS version, the game itself will be free to play... for a time. Eventually you will come to a point where you will have to pay $9.99 to continue playing the rest of the 24 levels that the game has to offer. Another thing to note is that the Android version, like the iOS version, requires you to always be online while you play.

As you wait for the game to be released, you can watch the following trailer 7,200 times. By the time you finish, the game will be released.

I dont like Apple either but Nintendo was under the belief that their game would sell better if it first appeared on IOS first with an Android release later, it was never said how long it would take but lo and behold its finally here where its less relavent now that there are other games and even the Switch launch preoccupying people's time.

Last I checked the mobile market is 80% Android and 20% IOS (this is probably different now but still the same area), thats a lot of consumers to be turning away from.
iOS users = Dumn ass' whom think their phones can do everything, Android users = People whom have been doing those things for years before iOS users even get those features. For example, iOS now has a GBA emulator. Guy walks up to me "HEY MY iPHONE CAN PLAY POKEMON, Bet your aaaandroid cant do dat!" My response "Lol, Android has dozens of emulators, and it has for years. Please, try again in 4 years."

YO LOOK I CAN MAKE MY KEYBOARD DIFFERENT SEE!?!?!?!?

Yeah I can do that too, also I can change the launcher and make it look cool without jailbreaking, which Apple hates. But rooting is sometimes provided by companys. Can you do that?

... BUT LOOK THE KEYS ARE PURPLE NOW.

Bootloaders and rooting are not one in the same.

Think of rooting as to homebrew for 3DS and the bootloader is arm9loader. By having a bootloader locked I can only access so much and it prevents me doing the most I want to do with my phone. I didnt learn about this until much later with my phone.

For example, I cannot install Magisk on my phone which would allow me to hide my rooting activity from apps such as Fire Emblem Heroes. To install it requires a system level of access that can only be obtained with an unlocked bootloader.
I wasn't saying they are the same. My point was that my siblings don't know about the technicalities their devices and thus I could not deliver proper confirmation on the situation with Samsung.

Dude, it's literally touch the screen to jump. That's it. Mario runs by himself. What do you need buttons for?
I'm interested to see if it will work on Android TV. Obviously those don't have touch screens ;) Rayman Fiesta Run works by utilising a couple of buttons on the TV remote.

Doubt it. It's just as easy on ios.
So jail break a ios at the cost of invalidate 2 years warranty? Don't know how things work at place where you live, but almost 90% of rotten apple users don't know what jailbreaking is and every android users know that you can get all pay apps for free.

I'm sure that's the reason why N has planned to get back investment by releasing the game earlier on ios.

Stop twisting the facts just to make a point. Not everybody buys a maxed out iPhone 7 Plus.
It's still insane what companies charge for a phone.

You know it's bad when you can't even look at a phone that costs less than $400, and most STILL LACK a removable battery. And how even LG is dumping that facet of their phones.
