sorry for a newb question, but i have question about these translations. i currently have cfw and a9lh with the mhxx japanese version cia. to apply the patch, would we simply install via fbi and play? what about playing online? can we play online once we have the translation as well? thanks!

Translation don't effect anything gameplay wise. Now installing it comes in different forms. They could make a plugin or cia that updates the game diagl

we will release an NTR patch and a xdelta3 patch for the romfs.bin. Yes, you can play online with those.

As a bonus we will provide a cia, which will download and install the latest NTR patch. (so you don't have to transfer 1400 files via FTP).

So fastest method will be:
1. install provided cia via FBI QRCode (822kb)
2. run cia (will take about 9mins to install, may vary depending on your microSD)
3. run BootNTR or NTR Selector
4. run game
5. profit

Just a feedback, I've been using the cia and it's really good. The installer downloads the plugin and makes patch folders, it does everything by itself.

you can use the xdelta3 patch to either rebuild a cia or make a modified romfs.bin for luma3ds nightly.

Play through the Village to unlock the option to increase your item box space, then go to the transmog cat (the one in the basement located under the nose of the blue airship) and the first three buyable options will be the ones that will upgrade your box.

So basically, I need to wait for a complete patched CIA-file or try to run NTR on my old rxtools 2.6 emuNAND (just stop there peeps, I wont change anything!)? Damn, I dont want to reinstall with the risk the game wont start anymore, yeah ik backups but a cia as patchfile (if there was the possibilty) would have been great for this lazy old guy (me). Or maybe I just misunderstand things. Dont get me wrong, I like your work and what you guys are doing for the community, many many thanks.

Well that's one of the main reason they still haven't release patch v1. Their trying to fix the start up issues with the patch. Just give it time
