This thing crapped out on me before and I made a post about it. However I forgot about the thing for a while and now I'm hoping I can get the thing functioning. Immediately after I post this I'll try fixing it myself while refreshing the page once in awhile.

Firmware is set up, SD Card formatted to FAT32 (As the User Manual says). When the cart is inserted the 3DS doesn't even acknowledge it. I will say that putting it in and removing it is surprisingly difficult. I have to use a little bit of force every time.

Try to see if it works on another 3DS system.

Maybe try this ( I don't know if it applies to flashcarts): https://3ds.guide/troubleshooting#twl_broken

I don't have one anymore. It's broken for some reason.
I purchased a used one specifically to Homebrew it.

However the DSTWO did function temporarily on my now broken 3DS. It stopped reading it after a while though.
I even ordered a second one and had the same issue.

You know, a dstwo really is obsolete at this point. Beyond letting you play nds games, the extra features (gba, snes) are unnecessary. Since a cfw 3ds already let's you play gba, snes, nes, gameboy, genesis, games. Plus it really drains your 3ds battery life. I'm having a similar problem with my dstwo. It won't fit into the game slot on a new 3ds xl. And when you do manage to get it in, it starts to feel hot. This is a sign that it's draining the battery.

I'm going to buy this soon.

It's cheap, only for nds games, actually fits into the 3ds, and doesn't drain the battery.

I used to own a similar model but I gave it to my friend when another friend updated my 3DS without asking.
I guess it'd make more sense to buy another one of those.
