Tutorial Mario Kart 8 How To Glitch MKTV/Upload Full Videos

Hey Guys this is my first tutorial so please avoid negative comments if you don't understand or hate it.

To get this glitch started you'll need a code that allows you to glitch MKTV in many ways this can be activated then deactivated after a second or you can keep the code active.

Things Needed for this to work:

• Mario Kart 8 (obviously, any region works)
• The Activate Glider Code
• Homebrew Channel Wii U
• JGecko U
• TCP Gecko Installer Files
• Online Access/Internet on Wii U
• SD Needed

Homebrew Launcher (Put in the "apps" folder inside the "wiiu" folder in the TCP Gecko Installer Folder, IMPORTANT OR YOU'LL BE UNABLE TO BOOT HOMEBREW !!!):

OK Now were ready to move onto the tutorial now

FOLLOW THE STEPS CAREFULLY OR THIS WILL NOT WORK AND YOU'LL HAVE TO START OVER!!

STEPS:

1. Download the provided Files using the links above. You should have a Homebrew zip, TCP Gecko zip and the JGecko U you are using (I prefer New).
2. Unzip the zip both files and now copy the wiiu folder from the TCP Gecko zip (wiiu zip) to the root of your SD card (SD card is needed or you won't be able to do the new JGecko tutorial).
3. Now copy the homebrew_launcher folder in the Homebrew Launcher folder to the "apps" folder in the "wiiu" folder. (http://prntscr.com/ejyzeh)
4. Now remove your SD card and put into your Wii U
5. Boot your Wii U like normal and then head for the web browser
6. Now in the Wii U web browser type "loadiine.ovh" (Don't include Speech Marks " " XD)
7. You are now at a site where you can choose what exploit to run first we are going to do the Old JGecko U tutorial.

OLD JGECKO U TUTORIAL

(CAN BE DONE WITH OR WITHOUT AN SD CARD BEING INSERTED IN THE WII U)

8. Click the select your programs drop menu and then click "TCP Gecko Installer + Kernel (5.5.0-5.5.1)" then click submit.
9. It should then load a video and then close the browser, go back into the browser and go back to the site "loadiine.ovh" it should then load the exploit.
10. It will then show you your Wii U I.P. Address (If this shows you done it correctly if it shows a black screen without you Wii U I.P. You crashed so try again).
11. Now write down your Wii U I.P. Address and then press A, you should now return the Home Button menu, return the Wii U Home Menu by pressing Home or close software.
12. Now load Mario Kart 8, once it get to the start menu where it says press A go back to your PC/Laptop keeping the Wii U on and then load the old JGecko U.
13. It will then say to type your I.P. Address so type it in the box or press the automatic detect button (http://prntscr.com/ejz8n4)
14. Now you're connected to get it will now say the game name and Game ID if you are in Europe type "AMKP01" USA "AMKE01" JAPAN "AMKJ01" But it's not really needed as long as you remember the Game ID and Game name you type.
15. Now in JGecko go to the "codes" tab and press "Add Code", now paste the old codehandler Activate Glider Code then press OK.

NEW JGECKO U TUTORIAL

(SD CARD NEED TO BE INSERTED IN THE WII U)

16. From loadiine.ovh click the select your program drop menu and then click "Homebrew Launcher 1.3 (5.3.2 - 5.4.0 - 5.5.0 - 5.5.1)" The reason for this is because it's more stable than the "Homebrew Launcher 1.4 (5.5.0 - 5.5.1)" exploit in my opinion but they both load the same exploit in the end, so I guess it's up to you in the end.
17. Since it's a single segment exploit it should boot you into Homebrew if the Wii U detects your SD Card being inserted in the Wii U (Don't remove it).
18. Now in Homebrew you want to load the TCP Gecko Installer application it should be easy to find as it has a custom icon that I made (http://prntscr.com/ejzf7g).
19. Load the application and now you should be in a menu where you can install TCP Gecko. Press X to install CosmoCourtney's codehandler not A.
20. Now it should boot you back to the Wii U Menu, now as before launch Mario Kart 8 and wait till your at the start menu where it says to press A to start or press A and wait at the game mode menu.
21. Now on your PC/Laptop open the New JGecko U and type your I.P. Address connecting automatically doesn't really work with the New JGecko U.
22. Things are different if your using the new codehandler as you don't have to write the Game Name or Game ID it auto detects it for you all you have to do is press "Add Code" then paste the new codehandler code in the code box and then press OK.

OK NOW AFTER THAT VERY LONG BASIC TUTORIAL LETS MOVE ON TO GLITCHING MKTV .

MKTV GLITCH

23. Now that you've got the Activate Glider Code (Don't Activate yet) load a race, any race will do. And now that you're in the race send the code.
24. You'll then realise that your kart/bike is moving by itself and that's OK you can disable or keep the code enabled and mess about if you want as long as the code was enabled this glitch will work.
25. Now finish the race and then go back to the Mario Kart 8 Menu, reboot the Wii U or Power it off then turn back on then reload Mario Kart 8 without hacks (This is needed to prevent a crash from loading MKTV with hacks).
26. Go to MKTV, then click the video where you raced with the "Activate Glider Code" you'll notice it takes a longer time for the video to load this is one of the ways to know you glitched. Now all you need to do is change the duration to 30, 45 or 60 seconds I prefer 60 seconds (doesn't make a difference though.
27. Now upload the video and you should then realise that after 60 seconds the music stops this is another way to show you've glitched. Now wait for it to process and then it should say how long to glitch video is. If you glitched MKTV by this, Well Done and a pat on the back . If you couldn't glitch then try watch my video of me demonstrating how to do it.

many people play offline so why not and i did make the code and i ported it if i didnt I wouldn't have released it, common sense and why should I reduce character size it looks fine to me also I started from the basics of connecting to gecko, if you hate it be my guest until an admin says its useless then this thread will be taken down.

but explain this why are you going to use it online when you'll just lose vr and be unable to control your kart while offline you can use the code pause disable the code then race then glitch, these are many reasons why i find helping people or sharing codes is useless you end up getting treated like dirt, if you hate this thread report to the admins and let them deal with it. I was trying to help people who don't have the money to buy capture cards :/.

and i know the difference already I was helping my friends on skype to port to all player positions you should know who he is "Hakr" I helped him after you told him the player address was in your stop CPU code

I did make the code the only thing is that i didnt find the player values as said but this is best for offline use not online and what i was saying was why post all the player valued codes when you'll end up losing vr's online as many people online either hack or are pros that why using offline you have a better chance of winning eg send the code pause the game disable the code than done i made the code and ported the code i don't see why you have to follow your leader flare and be rude. I already said to avoid the negative comments.
