Hey guys (It's me again),

I am using Nintendo 2DS 11.2.0-35E

Its been long long time I used my 2DS. I just grabbed out my Nintendo 2DS and the whole day I was googling how to downgrade it. It is so complicated to understand anything. Would you guys be so kind to refresh my mind and brain again.

How should I tread 2DS, like an O3DS? Can I follow and apply all instruction for O3DS on my 2DS such as downgrade etc.?

All I want is to downgrade it to 9.2. so I can install/create an emuNand to emulate my sysNand ofc.
I already have Homebrew launcher and it works. And this time it was way easier than last year, were i needed OOT and a PowerSave adapter. I just used SoundHax.

Once I its done, I can start installing CIA files like back than on my O3DS. I would so appreciate it if you guys can help me or give me some hints. But I don't want to open my 2DS like shown in some tutorials.

I also have a off topic question.
In this Thread about emuNAND it says that "the vast majority is going for A9LH and using Plailect's guide". What is the difference between A9LH and emuNand or are they 2 totally different things and I should compare A9LH with CWF?

I had a 2DS 11.2.0-35E, followed 3ds.guide, I can do anything :o install CIAs with Freeshop, Emulate my fav GBA games, , and yes a 2ds is basically the same as an o3ds, so dont worry about steps describing o3ds stuff, it applies to the 2ds aswell, and dont forget to make a nand backup! please... make sure to follow the guide EXACTLY as it says, as stated as above :)

I didnt emulate my NAND yet. Dnt I need to downgrade first to 9.2 or no need with A9LH?
You don't need to downgrade to 9.2 anymore. So long as you are below 11.3, you can just straight downgrade to 2.1
https://3ds.guide
That guide is for setting up Menuhax, which is no longer recommended. Menuhax requires emuNAND's because it lacks proper protection for your system. Thus it uses a separate NAND stored on your SD card called an "emuNAND." A9LH can use an emuNAND, but it's not required. A9LH is an exploit that basically boots seconds after the system is booted and before the NAND is even booted into. Which allows you to use CFWs on your sysNAND.

You guys and this forum is simply the best because only here you get real answers which really helps :) Thanks a lot for these information. Now I know what to do else I will ask again here :)

Yeah its really risky but since I studied Computer Engineering and also build and program robots etc, you can imagine how many devices I already bricked. So I can deal with it :D But thanks alot for these information that 3ds can be treated as 3ds. Helps me a lot to know that.

If it boots seconds after the system is booted, it means once you install it you cant remove it? Or do we have to press some buttons at start so it can boot? Seems like is bypasses everything with this mething :o

Will look at this guide you provied. thank you :)

You can indeed remove it through different methods. And there's no button to push to boot into it, once it's installed it will autoboot whatever CFW you setup to boot. It literally bypasses most things, it even boots before most of the main hardware has time to start working (like wifi)

So Crystal the Glaceon now you made me curios :D

So back than I was used to have emuNAND and sysNAND. I downgraded my sysNAND to 9.2 then I emulated it and upgrade the emulation to the latest firmware. I could always switch between both. In emuNAND games worked except when it comes to online playing. But on sysNAND online playing worked fine of course.

What about A9LH? Does it have problems with for example playing Mario Kart CIA online? Ofc I will check the tutorials as well, but seems you know a lot about these as well :D

You will only find problems with going online with games before they are released (and even that is hit n' miss.) Otherwise any currently released game will go online without a single problem.

Does that apply to using online features, or just playing will cause a potential ban?

Playing games before release often shows interesting results, to say the least. Like with Monster Hunter Generations, people were able to play online with the leaked copy without hassle. You couldn't download the DLC, since the DLC wasn't up yet. But you could indeed still play online
Pokemon S/M allowed users to have the full online experience, but then they were perma-banned when the game was released. So I guess it really depends on the popularity of the game and who's backing it.

Don't use random guides from Google. Just follow http://3ds.guide
If you find it confusing it may help to read through the guide before following it. It's really rather straightforward, just a lot of steps.

Like what @The Real Jdbye said, don't use random google guides. Study this one and use it
http://3ds.guide
It covers everything you need and even covers common issues, fixes, FAQ, etc.

I really tried http://3ds.guide. Seems I am completely stupid. I open this side then I click on "Get Started". There I have to choose my Handheld according to the picture and there it shows me how to install homebrew launcher. I already have this and there is no back or forward button. I can also read the guide "Updating A9LH" but first I need to install it. The navigation of this site is so bad, so i use google to navigate through http://3ds.guide.

Now I also find https://3ds.guide/site-navigation Here are way to much listed. I really dont know where to start. I will try till 2mw or some days. If I still fail, I will ask you guys again and hope you can help me again.

There are links to continue on to the next part on the bottom of the Homebrew Launcher page and on every page in the guide. It's not a difficult site to navigate through if you read.
