A German seller is apparently selling the Hori Wired Pro Controller which is unavailable on Amazon, GAME (UK retailer), and so on. Makes me think Hori either made very limited quantity or he/she bought the entire stock they made.

The link's here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hori-Nintendo-Switch-Controller-/192093368501

For that price it's just not worth it, pay a bit more and get the official Nintendo Switch Pro Controller which is a masterpiece of a gaming controller! :)

my official wireless pro controller works just fine fuck HORI :ha:
Ditto! The Switch Pro Controller an outstanding perfection of a gaming controller and deserves more praise.

As much as I love Hori products, they could never achieve the level of high quality that Nintendo's SPC offers. :)^_^

Damn, dun tell me the d-pad is like the wiiu's...?

On the wiiu I hate it when i press right for exemple, but unintentionally it registers an up or down press on it's own cause i am not like 100 freeking per cent centered to the right and it see-saws up and down way way toooooo easilly registering unwanted up or down presses. It's awfull to do any combo on street fighter 2 for example cause of the extra unintended presses!

Meh

the d-pad is hard like a on a cheap tird-party gamepad. Not the "nintendo-feeling" d-pad I loved on nes - snes - wii- gb - gba - ds ( i still don't know if i like the 3DS one but even there, it is far better than the switch gamepad pro)

It's very likely that future/newer prints of the Switch Pro Controller probably won't have this "Day One Edition" gem.

Especially their crappy screen protectors

Am I the only one who dislike the d-pad of the pro-controller ?
The d-pad feels very solid and just what I'd expect from a Nintendo controller. Shovel Knight and other 2D platformers will be loads of fun with it. :)

Even the mediocre Switch Bomberman isn't half as bad with the Switch Pro Controller (thanks to the d-pad 'cause playing Bomberman with an analogue stick is just so imprecise and slow).

Probably just put it up for sale while still waiting for stock to arrive haha

or it's fake.
I asked the seller for physical photos of the product but nothing so far, and I've also sent Hori Europe an email regarding their Wired Switch Pro Controller but again, no response either.

Not sure what to make of this but eh, the Switch Pro Controller is the best to get.

I agree, even if I couldn't afford it I would save up to get the pro controller. It's most likely that no 3rd party in this day and age will ever match it's quality. Now if you are buying for a child that will undoubtedly abuse it and break it then I can understand going for the cheaper solution but then I wouldn't let them anywhere near a Switch in the first place.

Child + wired controller attached to Switch dock = Angry (and stupid) Parent
