Guys, i'm getting the following error message in some games, I.E Wipeout 3 and Madagascar Peguins. Both where installed on HDD using WUP INSTALLER MOD Y with the ticket.

"IT'S NOT POSSIBLE TO USE THIS SOFTWARE. THE NINTENDO NETWORK ID USED TO PURCHASE THIS SOFTWARE WAS DELETED."

Any idea? I've tried to link another Account to the Wii U but it hasn't solved the error.

Where did you get the ticket from, and is it possible that you installed those titles while in redNAND, but you're now running on sysNAND (or the other way around?)

Can I use my current sd card I use for my 3ds or should I buy a new one. I was about to buy a 128gb sd card but if I'm able to I'll use my 64gb sd card. If I have to buy an sd card what is the recommended size I should buy.

This is a very opinionated area. But it all depends on what you want to do with your SD card. If you want to dump raw disc images from your console (CleanRip style), or install games downloaded using "other means" to your console, you'll probably want a 32GB or higher SD card. If you want to use redNAND on a white console, you'll want a 16GB or higher SD card, and if you want to use redNAND on a black console, you'll want a 64GB or higher SD card. However, if you just want to run simple homebrew like Space Game or Pac-Man, you could probably get away with a really small SD card.

Just take note that SD cards larger than 32GB must be manually formatted to FAT32, and you cannot use Windows' built-in tools to accomplish this, you must use an external formatting tool. If you are on macOS or a Linux distro, you can use the standard tools (Disk Utility or some command-line tool or GParted).

Also note that, unlike the Wii, the Wii U doesn't seem to have limits to SD card functionality. I've heard about people successfully using 256GB SD cards on their consoles with no trouble.

If I own Mario Kart 8 original digital on the internal WiiU memory, and I download the DLC through WiiU USB Helper and install it on internal memory too: can I run the game without Mocha aka does it boot up original because I own the game?

Second question, if I leave my original MK8 on the internal memory is it possible to install a 2nd Mario Kart 8 + DLC that comes from WiiU USB Helpder on the external USB HDD will it show up as a second MK8 icon or will it conflict the WiiU and it'll just pick one of the two to boot/have only one MK8 icon on the dashboard?

If the title ID is the same, IIRC it will default to the copy on the system memory. If the title ID is different (i.e. different region, or simply changing it with JNUSTool) you will have two MK8 icons on the Wii U Menu. Note that if the title ID is changed, it will require sigpatches/CFW to run or install.

USB wins, actually. I thought it was system, but I confirmed it yesterday (unless it varies by title - my test case was Haxchi'd Kirby Mass Attack vs. the regular game.)

No, i don't have a REDNAND setup on the console. Actualy theres no modification at all, it's only the game installed trought WUP INSTALLER. The game, ticket and everything else where downloaded from WiiU_USB_Helper, all the other ones work, except those two.

Basically, you need to compare the ticket that's on the system with the ticket that's on that title key site. To do that, you'd run tik2sd, look at sd:/tik2sd/keys.txt to find out which file the ticket is in, then compare the bytes in that file with the title key site's file.

Is there a way to see if a ticketfile is from a wud image or from eshop?
Open the file in a hex editor. Look at offset 0x1D8-0x1DB. If there is something there other than 00 00 00 00, it's an eshop ticket. (but who is distributing those?)

What you should probably be more concerned with is whether a ticket with a console ID of 00 00 00 00 is fake (generated), modified eShop, or real.

Fake is easiest. In a hex editor, if the first few lines of the ticket look like leetspeak DISEASED ISABELLA (or any other repeating pattern), it's fake. You'll need signature patches to use it.

The difficulty in determining whether a ticket is a modified eShop ticket or a disc one is that they will look the same to your eye. You would have to verify the data using openssl_verify. I couldn't find a web site that lets you paste the data and key, so you'd need the tools on your own computer.

Considering that, if you want to know that your ticket is legitimate, you should get it from that title key site. The site does an openssl_verify before it adds the ticket file, so if the ticket is there, it's legitimate. Of course, you could also just attempt an install with it while your signature patching is not running.

can you use 2 usbs at the same time to load games? it sucks the save file is tied to game file when usin usb

i have 1 w/ BOTW and a 2nd one w/ all my games. I'd rather just use one but my save is on the 1 w/ BOTW.

For some reason the program doesn't give me the option to verify the downloads before I copy them to the SD anymore.
Hikari06 had mentioned that since the title is verified as it's downloaded, the check during copying wasn't needed anymore. Maybe he acted on that assertion and removed the option. Since you're looking for application-specific help, you might be better off asking in the WiiU USB Helper thread, where the developer is more likely to see and respond to your question.

When downloading from USB Helper, appears "TMD NOT FOUND" for every title.
If the problem persists, try downloading the WiiU Menu TMD. If that doesn't work, perhaps you've blocked the host on your router, or your firewall could be configured to block your connections. If you can get the TMD through your browser, you'll have to seek application-specific assistance as suggested above.

Hi could someone give me a hint in the right direction on this.... I'am loading the latest WUP installer but whenever I try to install on external USB drive WUP installer states that it can't access any USB drive. (is it connected?).
I tried a USB drive (with external power) and a flash drive, both have the same issue.
On the WIIU these drives have been formatted with the WiiU and are visible in the WiiU menu (Lower left corner, USB icon) so that seems to be working ok.
The WiiU version is 5.5.1 E

Any ideas ?

Thank you, I'll try at night and let you know

Hi! Actually it was "just" a very noobie mistake. I was blocking Nintendo domains on my router to avoid updates.
Now it is working perfectly
