Out of Curiosity for someone who never did neither of this Methods. How do i actually delete a game installed via Wudinstaller into System Memory? What do you do if some update went wrong or smth?
It's WUPinstaller. WUDs are disc images. Keep in mind that wupinstaller uses the normal system installation function, and Nintendo has built-in features to deal with installation failures. Go into System Settings, then Data Management, just like you would for an eShop game. If you get the message that there's unnecessary data, let the system delete it. If the console hangs for a long time during the delete, force power off (even though it says not to), start back up, successfully install something to that device (system storage or USB) then go back and do the delete again.

If you need help with the regular functions of the WiiU, like deleting and moving games, check the electronic manual, or you can ask us in the WiiU Console forum.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I feel retarted to ask but how do i actually do that?
Let us know the specifics and someone will try to help you. What title ID (or name and Region) did you overwrite the ticket for, and what problem are you having because of it?

If I own Mario Kart 8 original digital on the internal WiiU memory, and I download the DLC through WiiU USB Helper and install it on internal memory too: can I run the game without Mocha aka does it boot up original because I own the game?
You can't run without Mocha, because you are running the DLC with a fake ticket. If you get a valid ticket for the DLC, you can fix that, but it takes some work.

Second question, if I leave my original MK8 on the internal memory is it possible to install a 2nd Mario Kart 8 + DLC that comes from WiiU USB Helpder on the external USB HDD will it show up as a second MK8 icon or will it conflict the WiiU and it'll just pick one of the two to boot/have only one MK8 icon on the dashboard?
You only see one. I'm pretty sure we figured out that the internal memory wins, and that's why you can't just save a copy of the DS game that you use for Haxchi on a USB drive and then insert that when you feel like playing the original game.

EDIT: Actually, Cyan pointed out here that USB has priority, and you can make the copy. I don't know how that affects DLC, but it should be consistent with whatever's on the same device as the game.

Ok, I think I need some help because the more I read, the worse I get. I've already got practice with softmodding, but with the Wii U the things are confusing me.
Basically I want to use an external hard disk to get my backups working. I read that the backups should be the encrypted version of the game - where to get them? And after that, is there a tool like Wii Backup Manager to move them to the hard disk?
On the Wii U I've already installed Haxchi - Homebrew Channel. What do I need to install more?
Are tools like Wii U Usb Helper able to get the whole encrypted backups from internet?

WiiU USB Helper gets the encrypted files from Nintendo's own servers. You run WUP Installer y mod or WUP Installer GX2 to install the games onto the system using the system's own install function.

with encrypted files you mean not only the updates/ dlcs but the whole games? And basically what are the differences between the two WUP versions? Do I still need the tickets for the game or I'll be ready to play them by the Wii U's desktop?

Yes, whole games.

Y Mod is text, GX2 is GUI. Y Mod shows you error numbers that GX2 seems to hide from the user. That makes it a little harder to help people with GX2. Use whichever you prefer.

WiiU USB Helper will provide a ticket. If the legit ticket is available on that title key site, it'll be the legit key. If not, it'll be a fake key and you'll need CFW active to run it. You can filter the game list in WiiU USB Helper if you don't want to see the games that would require CFW.

I have deleted my ID from the console without anything happening to the tickets. However, I don't know what happens when a different person associates their ID. I suspect that nothing will happen, but I haven't done it.

We haven't found anything in tickets that would tie them to a particular user, so I can't think of how Nintendo would know how to find and delete tickets that were purchased by someone who isn't on the console anymore.

If your eshop tickets get deleted when the new owner logs in and goes to eShop, the worst that will happen is that those eShop-purchased titles won't run. The titles you installed using valid disc tickets will continue to work, and the ones with fake tickets will work if the other person runs Mocha or buys their own game to put Haxchi on. No titles will be removed from storage.

You haven't mentioned CBHC, but I'll say it anyway: Do not sell a system with CBHC active. If the buyer wants CBHC, and they're picking it up, secure their payment, then walk them through running the CBHC installer. Their hands, their problem.

I don't use CBHC, by removing my user the games continued working normally, even the ones I've bought.
Thank you

Hey there,
I want to install a Game to my USB Stick, I formated the USB Stick with the Wii U, I have the right files in the install folder on the SD. So I start the WUP-Installer Y-Mod, and everytime, when I push X to install the Game to USB, I get the 160-0103 Error.
Help! Is there any Solution?

Sorry, but 'up to date' tells us nothing about your configuration. What is your button configuration for Haxchi? Did you actually install the channel version of Homebrew Launcher onto the Wii U Menu, and is that what you're using to start WupInstaller, or do you mean you're kicking off the Homebrew Launcher elf from Haxchi?

If haxchi starts HBL when you click it, then that's not running sigpatches. You probably have Haxchi's sysmenu option on button B. That means you'd click Haxchi and immediately press and hold B until the Wii U Menu slash screen comes up. Then you'd run Haxchi again (without pressing anything) to get HBL. You can run WupInstaller from there.

You'll need to run Haxchi with the B button after each bootup to play DLC/eShop games.

Please take a look at the Terms and Rules for this site, which are linked at the bottom of each page. You can neither ask for a key, nor can we give it to you or provide a link to it.

What I can tell you is that there's this iso site that has lots of posts of games. I bet that you can find a topic there that mentions Duty, German, and WUD. Those topics usually send you off to major file services where the game has been posted, and the key file ends up in either the first or last archive file of the folder. Since the last file will be smaller, try downloading that one first and opening it in 7-zip. If you see the key file in there, drag it to your desktop.

From the OP: (please read all of the OP to see if your question is already answered there)
Games installed to your hard drive can be transferred to your internal storage or you can install them directly to internal storage.

I am so confused. So I just downloaded Breath of the Wild WUP and its ticket, USA version and wanted to install on to my USA Wii u. I had the loadiine one but it was too slow so I downloaded this one and bought a USB drive. After searching online, I realized that all of them requires me to purchase something from eshop first (). Is there's a way that I dont have to do that and still install it and play it? If so, which installation walkthrough do I have to go through or is buying something from Eshop the only way? Someone help, please.

If you had loadiine, then you've probably also loaded Homebrew Launcher on your SD. If not, put that on there along with WupInstaller y mod.

Your browser exploit should have a HBL option. If not, you can go to http://loadiine.ovh to do the browser exploit. Start HBL, start wupinstaller from there, and install the game. You don't have to buy any other titles.

OMG thank you so much! Thats a lot easier. I was afraid of trying that at first. Okay, so I should launch Mocha CFW first and then launch WUPinstaller to install the title after placing the files under SD://install folder right? (with the ticket replaced by the one I downloaded)?

Also, it says that there's an update to the game and that "This is the official NUS update for Zelda Breath of the Wild. Version 33 If you previously installed the leaked update (v16) then it will need deleted. Go into your Wii U's data management and manually delete the previous update before installing this one. You will require a valid signature patching method to run the game once installed", what does it means that I need a valid signature patching method to run the game once installed? Do I just run mocha cfw?

You don't need to launch Mocha at all if you're installing legitimate titles (NUS download or disc extraction.) I don't know what you've downloaded, so I can't give you much advice there other than telling you that if you need to run Mocha to install it, you'll need to run Mocha to run it too, unless you start messing around with ftp_everywhere and ticket buckets and all that. It's best to use the legit files from your own region in the first place.

Mocha is a signature patching method. But you didn't install anything before you got the legitimate files, right? So that wouldn't apply to you.

So i read the whole tutorial and have one Question about:
you don't "need" a CFW or signature patch to play "all" the installed games.
Some games need it, some don't.
As a rule:
if you install a game originally dumped from a DISC format (discs are not tied to a specific console), and from the same region than your console : NoCFW or sigpatch or regionpatch needed.
if you install a game from another region, you'll need region free patch (old regionhax, or more easier : haxchi or Simple Signature Patcher if you don't use CBHC)
if you install a game from eSHOP format, you'll need signature patch (because eShop games are tied to the console used to bought that dumped game, so you need to "trick" your own console to not check if it's tied to yours)
if you install a DLC you didn't bought, same as eShop : it's a tied-to-console Title and therefore will require signature patch.

If i use a ticket file extracted from a WUD and then download the Gamefiles from Jnus do i need a CFW or Sigpatcher to play?
