Gaming 3DS 11.3.0-36 out now

So replying on 1st of March 2017... I know its quite a long time this thread came out but note that Lumas3ds+A9lh is safe to update as long as you update to latest. Dont use Hourly when updating just in case. If you would like you can also backup your 3ds with a9lh. NTR works on 3ds consoles and game hacks still work, new3ds have video capture support but no background lighting due to possibly messing up the 3ds system only light adjustment (like a Mac). Cia's and all your downloads work. Some things like Homebrew shortcut cia launcher needs to be manually updated. Still waiting for a new exploit to get cfw on a 3ds in 11.3 so for those like me who got lumas+a9lh in 11.2 or lower we can continue with our cia installing

I have a system on 9.2 with A9HL and Luma3ds installed. I don't want to loose HBL.... I rather stay on 11.2.0.35 for now. A

Anyway to get there or is there a title I can use?

HBL works fine on 11.3. If you already have A9LH you're fine to update. You won't lose anything.

Do I have to turn off 2X CPU speed in Luma menu? Or just Update from 9.2 to 11.3 and I am good to go?

You don't have to turn off the clock, just don't turn on the L2 cache. It's been known to give people problems. Install the new HomeBrew launcher loader CIA from the repo, then hold "X" when you boot HomeBrew to update to hax 2.9.

I don't know why you quoted a weeks old post of mine but whatever, it's done.

As far as your bad fortune goes, just wait a few weeks and Don't Update this time. There should be something coming out soon. Probably single system dsiwarehax + k11 + sighax if everything goes well.

you dont need hardmod if you have Lumas3ds and A9LH ;D Just make sure to look out for latest exploits on Lumas3ds and A9lh..... Waiting 120 seconds for the reply ;( If you have 11.2 firmware any number go to a tutorial and get lumas and A9lh NOW!!!

Even if you cannot use HBL cia you can still use soundhax to access Homebrew menu. Although HBL is faster ;D I know you already have it but for others reading HBL cia is working completely now (make sure to download right one). You wont lose anything and NTR and Freeshop should update itself. The system hasn't been modified much as the hacks still reroute to the same place so everything should work. Cias are 100% working unless it is a hack unmodified for latest versions...

If the community is right you should turn it off. It is known to cause problems, I cannot test it myself as I have an old 3ds ;D Sorry if it wasnt the answer you wanted... If you want a more valid and sure answer you can either check another forum or wait for a reply Not sure if lumas states the clock 2x cpu. Make sure before updating, Sorry if my answer was late

Of course it is, that is...assuming you've gotten CFW already installed. If you haven't, then of course not. You need Custom Firmware to install unofficial games and apps, and FreeShop is about as "unofficial" as it gets. There's no way to get CFW on 11.3 as of yet, you have to have 11.2 or lower, follow a guide (I suggest Luma+A9LH) then update the firmware to 11.3 which keeps your CFW. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

As drsalvador555 said unfortunately you cannot get freeshop at this moment with the latest firmware, it may take at least 3, more or less months to find an exploit and work their way around it. Sadly at this moment 11.3 is not in any condition to download CFW unless you have gotten it before the update. Fortunately Nintendo hasnt fixed the soundhax homebrew loader You cant get games but it is still possible for your 3ds to Generate Pokemon with pksm and more!! Such as editing playcoins. Go to smealum.github.io/3ds and get soundhax, then go to 3dsdb.com to download all available homebrew titles!!! Some titles may need a cia unpacker including a signature bypass. So you cannot download everything you see.

I want to buy new 3DS but i'm afraid it will have 11.3 (Pearl White or Metallic Blue) ;/
