Hi guys, I wonder if there is a way to play ps3 games on ps4 without ps now ? I dont like the idea of paying a monthly fee for life to play the games I already paid for..

I read somewhere we can pay 9.99 to upgrade a ps3 games digitaly so we can play it on ps4 ? Someone can confirm ?

If I buy another ps3 games on ps store, can I upgrade it with this option to play it on ps4 ?

No the game I want is just available on ps3..

Apart from the stigma of the original hardware backwards compatible phat PS3's being prone to failing, I've owned a re-balled japanese CECHA02 CFW PS3 Phat for 6 years now and it appears to be pretty reliable so far.

Native PS1, PS2, PSP and PS3 all in one box, on top of the plethora of legacy emulators available with homebrew. I highly recommend acquiring one.

I have a Super Slim, unfortunately not compatible with PS2. I do have a PS2, though, so that's not an issue. I do have a non-functional fat PS3, if yours has been reballed and worked for that long I may send it for reballing. And probably sell it afterwards. I guess.

Installing webman and setting fan speed as high as it can go is good too (you need to make a compromise with the fan noise :( )

I live in the extremely hot and disgusting tropics of northern Australia so I always use my PS3 in air conditioning and open spaces.

All right. The PS3 should be hackable, it has been broken for years now.

I would buy a PS4 in a heartbeat if Sony could do this but currently the PS4 doesn't have a single game I'm extremely interested in or super excited for except for KH3 in which I'm not going to buy it for just one game and Persona 5 is also on the PS3.

SylverReZ @ SylverReZ: Also nice. Never really watched Fallout on Prime, but sounds like a good show. +1
