Gaming How to install an official Zelda Update after you had one with fake .tik

As many of you know we all downloaded Zelda Breath Of The Wild long ago when it first got leaked, thank God we managed to get the OFFICIAL .TIK but unfortunately that didn't happen with the update... we installed the updated with fake .tik, we all thought that we were going to be able to just delete that update later.. and re download via Nintendo Servers and be forever happy right?

Well NO. That doesn't happen, the update is live on NUS and if you installed it previously with a fake .tik let me tell you it wont install for you it will download but will not install.

Any idea of why and how can we solve this?

EUR game, USA console.

No, not the official way, I grabbed the game update from NUS and installing now, I don't know if getting the update from Wii U USB Helper will help.... does the updates with this program also get a fake .tik?

Make sure you delete the previous update, and download the new one from UTIK or USB Helper, and install that one with WUP installer after you run MOCHA.

Hypothetically, if an NA console has the EUR game and update, and then tomorrow deletes the EUR stuff and grabs the NA update for the NA disc, will this cause issues with not installing the update?

dont use the .tik off "that ticket site" update wont install using that . i used utikdownloadhelper to sort it

Yes, this is apparently a new one. And it sounds like it improves framerates a bit.

I just downloaded the new update with USB download helper and installed it with gx mod and it worked fine. I had previously tried to officially download the upgrade and was getting the errors. I think the reason for this was because even though I had deleted the old update the fake tkt remains on the console and that was blocking the new update from working where as it's not blocked by installing with gx mod.
