Hacking Can we get a ban for copy own cartdrige?

Hey all, I have bought Pokemon Y and Moon before hack my 3ds, if i copy this game in my 3ds with the save and all files/informations, my game are 'legit' ? And can I have a ban for this?

You won't be banned just for playing the game. However, I'm pretty sure you can be banned for using modified save data, such as hacking in Pokemon through PkHex.

I have some generate pokemon with PkHex in pokemon moon but he are 'legit', its just some strats pokemon (not shiny not legendary not UC ect)
What are the degree of the risk ?

I can't find where I read it before, I might even be wrong that you can be banned for modified save data. If I were in your position, I'd go ahead and do whatever you want, pkhex and whatever. If you get a ban, it's probably temporary, and from gamefreak rather than Nintendo. If you do get a temp ban, take that as a warning to quit hacking in pokemon! That's just what I'd do.

The save I had in my legit Pokemon Moon was actually my save from the leaked copy. I didn't get banned and I am always online.

thanks, I dont want to risk to have a ban, Im going to have some reflections about this, if Im probably dont touch the online of moon and wait how the online ban preventions evolve to make my choice

If I want to stop, I have to restart all game? Can I just delete the pokemons and hacked object? Or I backup my clean save?

I guess. I edit the crap out of my save file and haven't gotten any ban. But again, I don't use the PGL.

Oh wow thanks, for more informations, can you tell me what you have edit, if you have some gen pokemon not caught in pokedex and if you play in free battle/wonder trade/gts?

I wonder trade and free battle and do trades.

I have edited items and genned mons. I've even accidentally made completely illegal//invalid Pokemon.

But at the end of the day, I have multiple 3DS systems, and I am not too bothered if I ever do get a ban.

oh, yeah you have an 'protection' if you are ban you can easilly bypass them, its not my situation, I try to be prudent and dont make a lot of stupid thing, if you have any information in the futurs im really interested to know

According to that post about recent banwave it affected people who had edited their savedata yes, but not people who genned.. Because if you make a Pokemon legal and everything checks out, there's no way for Gamefreak to even know you genned. I believe I read that the bans affected people who had hacked ridiculous amount of items in, like 999x Master Balls, or added a stupid amount of money to their character .. I recall reading something about a "flag" and if the value of the flag is lesser than the currently held money then you've used PkHex = grounds for a ban.

Either way, even if you did get banned it would be only for Pokemon as it's Gamefreak who hands out the bans.

oh yeah I know that, but I just have gen somes strats pokemon with strat object (findable in game)

But if gf ban me, its not an console ID ban with friends codes ect?

Gamefreak has no control over your NNID. It's a ban from their service - Pokemon.

Think of it like this .. If you have Steam on your PC and you'be bought an online game on it. You hack on the said game, and you get banned. Do you lose access to Steam too? Of course you don't, that would be retarded.

To get your NNID/console banned you have to break Nintendo's Terms and Services directly. Technically you already have, as you hacked your console, but they don't know that. If, for example, you went online with a leaked copy of a new game (Like people did with Pokemon Moon), then they'd find out = console banned. As far as Pokemon goes .. Gen to your hearts content. And if you get unlucky and get banned I think you can go online again if you change your Trainer ID (and maybe NNID?.. not sure).
