Compatibility differs slightly.
The TWL_MODE option is also available on the alt build. You don't need it.
So both are the same, just use one or the other according to compatibility. OK ty
Sorry actually I'd like to ask something, are there any button combination functions on this? Ty

So I'm trying to use this with my old CycloDS. It detects the flash cart when it boots up, but then the flash cart can't see the SD Card I have in it. And I know it's not a problem with the flash cart itself because when I stick it back in my old DS, everything works fine.

I'm not sure how to troubleshoot this, honestly.

Try enabling the ResetSlot1 option in the ini file. That cart may not get along with the primary card init method it defaults to.

@GerbilSoft , Any progress with getting NTR Launcher working on devkitarm r46? I have removed dependencies of Ahezard's libnds fork from the altbuild. I've also retired the main build and made the altbuild the master branch. If you are still working on this, I suggest you concentrate your efforts on the altbuild now. ;)

Haven't started, but I can take a look sometime tomorrow.

I noticed something strange when I have NTRclock set to 0 (using latest version). When I play Super Mario 64 via CycloDS, when I close the system and then open, all I get is a black screen, but the sounds still play. This doesn't happen when the option is set to 0. Does it have something to do with the extended VRAM, or is it the clock speed itself?

It's the clock speed itself. This also occurs in bootstrap.

Haven't started, but I can take a look sometime tomorrow.

I managed to get it to compile and boot using latest libnds/devkitarm:

https://github.com/ApacheThunder/NTR_Launcher/commit/89c74797d9d0668683e60031c29dba8e4a2f33c9

However it hangs just before the game is supposed to boot. I enabled the debug code to see where it's hanging and it gets past all the bootloader code it seems. So it's the game that's hanging or it breaks just before it boots? Not sure what's going wrong. Maybe you can spot a mistake or something. :P

You can also try reapplying the changes to the old main build from the old repo instead to see if it's the changes shutterbug did for TWL mode compatibility that is breaking things. WinterMute said NitroHax worked for him so not sure why this is happening. Don't really want to use the old main build anymore cause it lacks the TWL mode option in the INI file code. I'd have to migrate that over and don't really feel like doing that. :P

Okay, I feel dumb asking this but...assuming I installed it as a cia, where I found the ini file? I've been hunting through my SD card without much luck.

It's in either the "nds" or "_nds" folders in the SD root.

I don't have that folder. Which would explain why the loader isn't working, probably. I guess I'll remove it and try to reinstall it...

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Okay, definitely think I am doing something wrong, since I reinstalled it and still don't have the folder.

So I'm installing the cia via FBI
It doesn't not show up as a present after I do this, I then have to go back into FBI and launch it from there.
It failed to launch, giving me an error, fun.
I had to restart, when I restarted it showed up as a present now.
So I tried again...
It launches my flashcart, but again, can't see the SD card plugged into the flashcart.
So I pop it out and check the sd card...still no folder.

Is the folder in the NTR Launcher zip/7z file? If so, extract it to the sd root.

You won't need to reinstall the CIA. The release zip file includes a nds folder. You have to copy that to the SD of your 3DS. The folder will NOT be created by the program itself however. You have to do that your self and also make sure the INI file is present. Once it is, you edit the resetslot setting as mentioned before.

Hi,

Having an issue with the latest version. Have installed the cia, created the nds directory with the ini. however when I run it, it just shuts off my n3ds xl on 11.3. Cart is a CycloDS, was working fine before updating to 11.3 (updated luma3d etc.).

Thanks
