Homebrew N3DS XL sometimes turning off when putting on sleep mode?

Sometimes my N3DS XL will rarely (happened twice now this month) turn itself off when I close the lid to put it to sleep mode. Any ideas why it's happening? Is it because I'm in the nightly luma version or is it because of 11.3? Or is it a hardware problem?

This happens to me too. I fix this by exiting to the home menu and closing it, it doesn't turn off then.

Also by turn off I mean screens just stay off. and I have to restart.

Check your settings,you might have power saving settings on.

Yeah that's what's happening to me too it turns off when I put it on sleep mode while I'm playing a game. I need to power it back on when it does it.

And no I don't have power saving mode enabled

Do you have CFW? Hourglass9?

Might be in the settings for those,it's a long shot but I can't think of anything else.
