so here's the story, my dad let my uncle use his pc at work, (I work there too) as a public pc, only problem is, the jackass constantly changes the password to keep me off of it. at this point I'm completely fed up and want to know if there's a way to check what it is without knowing it.my dad lets him do cuz he thinks I'm on it too much (hour and a half a day) while said uncle is on facebook 24/7. unfair ? yeah...

If you can't get into a guess account and dont have admin, it's impossible as far as I know

You could also use a Linux persistent key to boot on it
You could also install it via systemd-boot so it boot windows by default on windows but by pressing the e key it show a menu that allow to boot Linux

Unless he choose a good password (most people don't) you can use a tool like hashcat to recover it in cleartext. If the bios isn't locked, just boot into Linux on a usb disk.

eh ... what ?
I don't really see the problem ... create your own account next time you have access ...
or just boot a WinPE if you only want to go online this should do the trick.

if you are able to, boot a linux distro, (in Windows\system32) rename "Utilman.exe" to "Utilman2.exe", then copy cmd, and rename it "Utilman.exe"
then press that button thingy in the bottom right corner (i think), then type "Net user (username of account here) *" to change the password, unless he is using a live account

I remember there being a way via cmd. Only works on an admin account, so assuming you have that, then let me try searching for it lmao.
Here.
You can try it, I suppose.
