i have 3 3ds two o3ds's and 1 new 3ds the two o3ds has luma cfw 6.6 with no a9lh and its on emunand 11.3, when i play pokemon sun or moon or super smash "basically any game that uses extended memory", it just goes to the 3ds logo then turns off the system this does not happen with my n3ds but my n3ds has a9lh installed and the n3ds was built to handle extended memory more than the o3ds. so my question is, is anyone else that own a o3ds with or without a9lh having the same issue and is there any simple solutions ?

Ahem, first of all:
What the fuck, Luma with no A9LH?
Like how is that possible?

Secondly:
If you aren't using Luma on the o3ds it must be the hax you are using(which one(?))...

im wondering how installing a9lh will help me with my issue?
Your problem is a high memory mode game. Those tend to have issues with menuhax and emunand. I haven't seen anyone report these issues with A9LH though (unless they have a bootmanger)

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

    For your R4
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    nvm it does support mine
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Slightly slower loading but a bit more convenient
