Nothing happens loading roms

Downloaded and installed latest fbalpha2012_neogeo_libretro nightly
neogeo.zip (BIOS) in folder with roms

Does anyone know what's going on? Thanks

First, welcome! Typically we allocate the RetroArch-centric questions to the (un)official RA on Vita thread only.

Second, for FBA2012, make SURE you are using a confirmed FB Alpha v0.2.97.30 ROMset. This is all it will work with. Google is your best friend here, but I do admit it takes some hunting down for the correct set.

Thank you. I'm using FB Alpha roms from my XBOX. I'm not sure which version.

You weren't kidding about it being hard to Google. Found two sets so far. One was bad ZIP and other is massive in size - I guess because it includes all the arcade roms and other stuff.

Hopefully, I can find the Neo Geo stuff and maybe CPS2 - all I'm really after. Thanks

Looks to be harder to find any beat on the XBOX port of FBA (Have a hackedBox, but never used FBA myself), so I'd say it was horribly outdated.

YEP! I used torrents, personally; was just easier. The Internet Archive's a good place to start, that's where I got mine. Not as huge as a MAME set but still large, but remember with a GOOD bittorrent client (say, qBittorrent), you can pick what you want to download.

You'll find them, don't worry. And they work well at that.

That's where I found the bad ZIP and massive torrent. The torrent is all 7z parts too, so no pick and choose. plus it's v0.2.97.39 :-(

Finally, found the FB Alpha v0.2.97.30 ROMset but the result is the same. The new files do have different cheksums though.

The latest fbalpha2012_neogeo_libretro nightly I downloaded displays v0.2.97.29 in the corner. Do you think I need that ROMset instead? Thanks
