Hacking What is NTR and bootNTR and why should I use it?

Hey!

So I have been looking into things recently and in the first days of the 11.3 update I heard many mentions of BootNTR not working and I asked myself, "What is NTR and boot NTR", so I'm interested, but I don't know what it is. Can someone clarify what exactly NTR and bootNTR is?

NTR is a CFW that needs to be launched manually before activated. With NTR you have a wide range of options like cheatmenus, streaming (no capturecard required) and a lot more. It's very plugin friendly. This is just a crash course, I use it mostly for cheats since I hate gridning in some games.

Can I run it with Luma?

Yes, BootNTR isn't depending on your CFW you are running. BootNTR need to have support for the firmware. I suggest you use BootNTR Selector since it have higher compability and faster updates than the original.

NTR is the CFW. BootNTR starts NTR CFW hench the name "boot"NTR

NTR mostly just runs in the background. You don't see it. It's just there.

I don't think ntr got fixed for 11.3 yet.I know the hbl got fixed a few hours ago though.

It did roughly 2 hours after 11.3 released, just press X while loading NTR Selector
