Temp meetups can happen, happened in the past as well.

The problem however is accommodation and money issues.
The vast majority are whiny pirates who even want their consoles for free so you obviously count them out.
That just leaves the small core of the community who's in their late teens through early 40's? who has enough money to go.
The accommodation is the next problem as you need to find a cheapo hotel for every temp member to stay in.
Not to mention you must be sure of who's coming or not.

That being said, I'm all in for an actual Temp meetup.

to correct you I did host a couple 3ds streetpass meetups. anyone who was under a certain age was asked to make sure they had parental permission first... you would be surprised at the complete lack of parental attention here in toronto. Having to say call up 7 parents after their kids showed up by themselves was eye opening. (under the age of 12).... Other than those I have gone for drinks with 3 people I met through gbatemp(who were over the age of 25). And almost had a cross border visit...
Just to be clear I did have a policewoman (with her male police officer partner) friend and her social worker friend with me beside the eatons centre at these 3ds meetups... In case I get yet another you creepy -------- thing again or accusatory stupidity from parents who should have been paying more attention to their children. Just so you know social workers can and will use their full powers off duty. (yes all three had their 3ds's as well)

I may talk perverted but you also if you look will see a deep and profound anti molestation trait. hopefully that is enough warning to anyone...

However discord voice calls are free. We should all schedule a time for a discord temp get together party. All of us are free to join and i would go as far as volunteering myself as the coordination for this party call.
