hey guys,

I'm selling an extra vita I had with henkaku on it. It is activated to my PSN account so I need to deactivate it but I am unable to use the Sony Site and use the deactivate all option (used this once in the last 6 months), and obviously I cannot sign into psn on the vita to deactivate. What are my options ?
Any help would be much appreciated !

I believe the vita becomes deactivated if you format the system via the settings app (take the memory card out first).

Then reinstall henkaku on the deactivated vita. It should still be on 3.60.
@Tom Bombadildo may be more accurate than me, though.

Additionally, the psn page on sony's website lets you un-link your device as well, i believe. At least that was the way with the psp (only server-side tho)

Alex would be correct, reboot your Vita into the recovery menu and do a full format on your Vita. That will unlink your PSN account and deactivate it.

What I found is that this does not remove the PS vita from the authorized media devices list. I am stuck with my vita sucking up a media device slot (2 actually, the other is claimed by ePSP on the Vita) I should not have activated TN-V for media :/

On the PSN website, go to account management > devices > playstation systems and pick the vita that you want to deactivate.

I'd post a screenshot but I have no idea how lol.

Oh I think I got it to work! Here's the screen where you can deactivate.

When you pick that, it should pop up instructions on how to use your Vita to deactivate, which is not possible without PSN access via fw spoofing

Ah I see, I never tried clicking on it cause I want my vita to stay activated. In that case then you might need to wait out the 6 months to deactivate all :(.

I wish that would help me, I need to deactivate the media side of my vita, not the game stuff. The 6 month deactivation ignores media content.

So one must wait for 6 months before the device list auto-deactivates any psn-idle psv ?

Are there other methods available?

Well we do still have PSN spoofing right now, you can deactivate your console as normal if you still have access to it.

If not, you have to wait until they reset your activation wait time.
@Tom Bombadildo you're right about OP having access to PSN to manually deactivate, but the sony account site doesn't deactivate the Videos and Music side of PSN account. It must be done on the actual hardware that's activated or through sony's support.

Does it mean signing out psn will lead to deactivation of the vita or pstv and thus loss of the condition for running Henkaku ?

My plan is to deactivate a Henkaku 3.60 pstv so as to free up 1 slot for later activation by another vita >3.63.
