Lately work has been piling up. I wake up. Eat breakfast. Go to work for 8 hours. Go home. Eat dinner. Sleep. Repeat. For six days straight.

I don't have any time to game on my 3DS anymore. As I type this my eyes are slowly fluttering close.

Gambia, The
Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call, if you like Rhythm Games, the same for Rhythm Heaven Megamix. I like the FF more, though.

Megamix is really good, bought it recently.
But some remixes miss vocals and some minigames have horrible voice acting when the games audio output is set to English, so one should change the output for those to Japanese.
You can also play all minigames with friends if only one has the game.

For short durations I also recommend Smash Bros, where you can play some short matches online, if you happen to be somewhere you have WiFi.
The duration of a match caps at 5 minutes so you won't spend too much time there except you really want to beat some jerk who uses characters like Rosalina, Yoshi or Bayonetta to teach them a lesson...

Some people might also like the professor layton games, where you can solve a puzzle and continue the next time you play.
The presentation of those is always quite good, even if the plot twist at the end of the story is always bs, there is no exception to this.
Even the crossover pulled something out of its *** at the end to justify the story and that was the best layton game so far imo as it had Phoenix Wright in it even though the court sessions weren't as good as the ones found in the main series.
i own and played all of those so I assure you it is true.

Gunman Clive series
Tetris series
Binding of Issac
Quest of Dungeons
Gunslugs series
Puzzle Dragons Z
Sega 3d Classics Collection
Zen Pinball
Witch and Hero series

Most of those games last a few minutes. Some a little longer, if you understand their mechanics well or get lucky.

That sucks. The boss must be really riding ya. Just about any great game needs a decent amount of time invested. I hate to say this but you're probably better off just playing puzzle games on a smartphone.

@Bateees
What if OP doesn't have a smartphone designed for gaming? I've got a few smartphones I could game on, but I won't even bother because I hate touching screens and I won't play accelerometer games just because. Besides, you should try playing more games to find out 'great' is a personal taste. There are many 'great' games you can play a level and save after. Hell, you even have the option of saving mid-battle in FE: A/F, Q.S. in DQ VII/VIII, save nearly anywhere in SMT IV/A, Pokémon X/Y, OR/AS, S/M.
Maybe for both of your sakes, try Code of Princess--Beat'em up with RPG-elements set in a fantasy world. Most levels range from four minutes to four seconds. Thirty-ish levels with many unlockables.

Someone working 6 days a week without a smartphone but a 3DS. I guess it's possible. I couldn't imagine being without my smartphone because I listen to music and podcasts on a daily basis plus keep up with all of my business.
