Is there still an online store that sells Nes MINI for $60?

Just buy a clone system on aliexpress for less than half the price and much more functionality.

Recently I have been hunting down retro stuff. Quite impressed with some of those clone consoles.

Specially NES, SNES and Gameboy stuff

^Nintendo announced 2 days ago that a restock was coming.

And idk for you, but in France there are restocks for 3 minutes / 5 max (got mine yesterday for €53 when the usual price is €70 from Amazon) you have to be really fast.
We're quite lucky because some website alerts users when a restock is available.

But don't worry, a restock will be coming, this time be sure to be ready o/

I've got a little more than $60 in it, but I'm pretty happy with this.

That's why I've got an XRGB mini Framemeister on order. The Famicom isn't the only retro console I've got.

Nice. But that rig is now definitely costing WAY more than a NES Mini.

Might have to invest in a Framemeister soon, my new 4K TV has 3 HDMIs and a composite, that's it.

LOL No doubt. I just have an aversion to emulation. It has its place, like VC on a portable for instance. But otherwise I much prefer native playback on real hardware.

That composite input on your new TV will most likely be useless for old consoles. And if you're considering a Framemeister, you might want to get serious about it pretty soon. Micomsoft announced in December that it was ending production this year. The main chip on the Framemeister's mobo, which comes from a 3rd party, is not being made anymore. Micomsoft negotiated one additional run, which they say should be enough to last through this year. But then they also said that if you want one, better order it by February at the latest. Everything's in Japanese except for gaijin speculation of exactly what the situation is, but Micomsoft has also said they have no plans in place for a successor product. Of course, that could be B.S. and they could have the FM2 or something just waiting to roll out. But if that were the case, I don't see why they would've bothered to persuade the chip mfgr to do one more run of the old chip.

Original info is here in Japanese, or you can google for lots of English interpretations and discussion.

Those are pretty expensive however.

They're REALLY expensive right now if you want one right away (i.e. ebay). Framemeister stock sold out last fall and now the new production from the last run of the main IC that I mentioned above is trickling out. About a 2 month delay at Solaris where I bought mine, and Yakumo at assemblergames was charging about $500 for it recently, but says he'll be getting regular-priced stock again soon. Once production is finished sometime this year, they're going to get very expensive indeed.

That's like buying a cow because the store's out of milk!

As I said, the Famicom isn't the only console I own. If I didn't own a Famicom (NES) or any other older game system and just wanted a way to play NES games on a modern TV, I might consider the NES mini (even though I don't like emulation). But since I need a way to play Famicom, Super Famicom, Megadrive, N64, Saturn, PSX, Gamecube w/ GB Player, and an original XBox on a modern TV w/ HDMI inputs, the Framemeister is $$ but worth it.

Great news that NES/Famicom mini is not discontinued.
But bad news to everyone who bought the console recently with $1xx.
