Gaming Is it possible to use someones save file on a game?

Don't think it's actually possible, if you're talking about using a save manager via homebrew. You can't download a save files off of the web and load it into your game.
There may be a way via CFW that I'm unaware of. Might be a hack online where it completes the game for you? Not really familiar with that Phoenix Wright game, haven't actually got round to buying it yet ;'P

I've tried with other games and it doesn't work. If you look online, it normally says it's not possible due to different saves being unique to that console.
I've done it with my own games when moving from o3ds to n3ds. It is certainly possible. Just make sure to handle secureValues appropriately with savdatafiler or just use jksm.

You need the save in decrypted format. it sounds like your saves are not decrypted...
