I want to start over because I got lost when trying to switch some data around on my SD card.

I was able to restore my original sysnand which is on 9.2, but I still need the SD card to boot.

I'm considering selling my 3DS and would rather have it working they way it was out of the box.

I can't seem to find instructions for this.

If you want to go to the factory take a plane to Shenzen then train to Longua City and from there you can walk to the Foxconn factory.
Hilarious.

Mind telling us why you want this? Any problem you've had can probably be easily fixed. If not we can still help up. You also probably selected keep A9LH when restoring your backup.

For the life of me I can't remember what the decrypt9 thing I used is called. It has a dragon on the lower screen. But the only option to restore sysnand had (keep A9LH) beside it.

I'm considering selling it because I really don't play it any more and would rather put the money towards the Switch and accessories.

That would be Hourglass9! And the only option was keep A9LH? That's weird. Anyway there is an A9LH uninstaller so that doesn't really matter. Why did you want to do this though? Me or another member can probably help with your problem. Restoring that backup didn't put you far off. Just update and re install everything if you want to keep A9LH.

I really appreciate the offer to help, but if I trade it in or sell it, I'd want it to work they way it was designed to so I don't get a message or an angry buyer.

Hourglass9 doesn't have the option to remove a9lh. Because hourglass9 is a safe copy of decrypt9, they remove risky ootion.

What you have to do is put decrypt9 in your luma/payloads folder
And load it like you would do with hourglass9
