OP
I know, I know... I'm stupid. I broke my new 3ds xl by using dgtools with a9lh installed. I didn't figure out that it would brick my system until it was already installed... I do still have a9lh, is there anyway to use what's left of a9lh to unbrick my system? Or any type of way?
PS: I have my NANDMin.bin from the a9lh installation for 11.2 so I have my backup, but I really don't know how I can do a hardmod without 99% breaking my system from messing something up in the motherboard :( (Those types of things get me kinda scared...)
Any help is appreciated if possible, thank you :)

You wrote trash to your Firm 0/1, effectively overwriting a9lh on normal cases. If you can't access any payloads such as Decrypt9/Godmode9/Hourglass9, you lost a9lh and got a brick. The only way you could recover is with a hardmod.

There's even a warning that tells you there's a 100% chance of that happening.

You need to send it off to a hardmodder. The arm9 gets stuck in an infinite loop with this brick so recovery won't help.

I don't think it said it when I installed it, I read everything I could see on the screen, it said nothing about it. Again, I said I found out once it was already done, so I didn't even know that it was bad until I did it already.

Does it warn you when you try to install it too?
It warns you every time you downgrade firm. There is no way to tell you have it installed already (a limitation of DS mode) so only a warning is possible.

edit: versions < 2.0 didn't have the warnings - I didn't think anybody would be dumb enough to try downgrading an already hacked system. Boy was I wrong :P

I don't think this was intentional lol, just curiosity mixed with an extra dose of carelessness. We've all done stupid things.
But it warns you you'll brick. Right there.
