I wouldn't A9LH but not sure how I can easily transfer everything over since I currently have a ton of games on my SD Card and a ton of saves.

He said he is running an old hack in the title. Then he said he wants to update. I told him a9lh is the most recommended. I didn't force anything

Hers was on the latest mine is using an EmuNAND on the latest but don't want to lose any of my games or saves

Well, I know this is extremely outdated, but you'll need to downgrade to a version where Menuhax doesn't load only when you hold R on Face Raiders.... 9.2 is the best bet, and I'll get you a guide, BRB

Well, if you want A9LH, just follow 3ds.guide, which is the best A9LH guide out there...

It'll explain everything you need to know...

If you need help, just ask here... We are a community...

You dont even need the guide to learn how to transfer everything over. You just restore your emunand backup over your sysnand after everything's over. Also, by this point, a9lh is so safe and easy to install, it's beyond extremely reccomend.

I started doing the guide I did the same process for my GF 3DS but I must have overlooked the EmuNAND part should of just did both of them at the same time lol

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i dont have an sd card adapter but I have an usb sd card adapter

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    nvm it does support mine
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
