So I installed Homebrew on my Wii via Letterbomb and works fine. 4.3U, I'm able to play discs and games from my USB and SD card. I did the same thing to my friends Wii, 4.3U, using Letterbomb, and h is having issues. When trying to play a disc he receives the message "In order to use this software you must perform a system update." He's already on 4.3. Additionally, when trying to install this game to the USB via USB Loader GX, it freezes mid installation. Any suggestions? Will be posting a syscheck shortly.

This is from my Wii. I'm not having any issues with mine. I'm able to run Wii discs, play from USB and install to the USB. Still waiting on syscheck of Wii in question.

That's normal after installing all the cIOS, if you choose to let the discs upgrade your system they'll overwrite the cIOS with the standard stubs, rendering any USB Loader and other stuff non-functional.

You should also definitely improve your cIOS setup, @Flashed is right. In your current setup, any games that would require another cIOS to run than 250 will not work.

If everything is currently working fine for should I even pursue adding these additional cIOS's ?

Well if you have all the games you'd ever want to play and they're all working, I'd say stick to your current set up. But if you plan to add more games to your collection and want to make sure every game is gonna work without any issues you should install all cIOS. Especially if you'd like to play games with USB peripheral, since those need the Hermes cIOS

I'll use my friends syscheck and throw it into ModMii and go from there. Thanks for all the help.
