Okay so as the title suggests, I was trying to load HBL from the browser (I used wiiubru.com ) and it showed the "Detected 5.5.1" and then loaded the MP4. As it did, the video seems to have frozen and, this happens regularly for me, I just cut the power as usual and tried to reload. Having never had a problem doing so, today seems different... my wii u now REFUSES to load a web page, saying "No access point available." So I went into system settings and to the internet, and it is still connected to my wifi router. However doing a connection test fails on trying to connect to the network device, but there can't be anything wrong with the router because it was working fine, and still is... help?

ok wiiubru as an entry point is broken currently , i was working on it a little last night ... you can try other hosts... wiiubru.com/x or loadiine.ovh

but it failing for you wouldnt effect your connection in any way.. that will be a coincidence.. power cycle the wiiu and reset your connection.. is about all i can suggest... i will fix wiiubru.com's exploit later today... kinda bust at the mo.. until then try the links i mentioned above.

I can't try any other entrypoints because my wii u refuses to connect to the internet now. I tried turning it off and on, deleting the settings and re-setting the connection up, and it all just fails to connect..

Did you actually enter browser setting and clear all data there too? Might help.

He may have a DNS manually set to one that blocks updates and that DNS address is no longer valid. He may want to try changing this.

I was thinking similar about the dbs settings. But wouldn't we habe more than a fluke of a statistic in that case. ... I had a router go down a couple weeks back. Could connect to it and not elsewhere. Did u ping it or some location trying to use the local access ability. I can say I think I had tripped mine.. a tech came replaced it and had no trouble since. I know was running it's little brain out this month. May have just made mine stupid from working long hours.
I never did get a define answer. But I still got remnants of the network in a machine. Gonna try and figure it out. Don't expect a quick success. Iv been peddling that bike a while now.

DNS going down is more then a fluke. The DNS setting I had stopped working suddenly one day. Couldn't connect to the internet. It'll only work with IP addresses without a working DNS, so I was able to connect to a local webserver running on the local network.

It had nothing to do with DNS; just my wii u being dumb. It's working again after leaving it turned off for several hours.
