Homebrew can i use my Wii u home brew on the same card

i have a 64gb card for my 3ds on 11.2 and i know for a fact when the card is not in the 3ds the console is unusable so can i use WUP installer on the wii u temporarily with this card if so should i keep all current data on it or transfer it to pc and put the data back on when i am done

I would backup EVERYTHING thats on the SD Card and then copy the needed things for Homebrew on the Wii U (Launcher, WUP Installer, Game Files and (if needed) CFW. It should work just normally since the Wii U doesn't format the SD like the USB. But a backup is always useful.
