ENB with GTX 750 Ti doesn't look nearly as good as the switch version.

Because it's been out for a couple of years already and they're re-releasing Skyrim instead of releasing The Elder Scrolls VI.

GTX750 Ti sucks. Skyrim is just a cheap experiment to see if Bethesda games sell on Nintendo consoles.
It still runs better than PS4(for a budget card, that is). I know it's just that, but people keep whining about the game being the ps3 version when it looks better than a maxed out original skyrim.

that's because they sell the game the full price for updated graphics, while it's cheaper elsewhere.
they already sold the game 6 years ago, they are not releasing it but "updating" it, though they sell the update the same price as a new game.

Everyone seems to forget that Bethesda just released the Remastered edition late in 2016, and were charging console owners full price for it after release. Just because the Switch version isn't stamped with "remastered" doesn't mean it's not the remastered version (it probably is).

Well as Cyan said, they are selling an update not a new game ...

If they would have made a proper Elder Scrolls 3 remake with voice and beautiful 3d I doubt anyone would have been angry as there are lots of fans who didn't play this (as its old and no voice and whatever you can think of) despise that many say it was the best out of all the Elder Scroll games or some who just didn't play if for over 10 years and would love to have their childhood memory back with a little bit new paint.

But rereleasing a Game which is not very old and selling it for the same price a new game is sold this is ridiculous especially as you can get the game for an apple and an egg without the "update" and just download some HD texture pack ^^V

Did the special edition have extra features or anything like that, or did it simply just look better than it did originally. Because if it's all just about graphics, then I don't care if they call it special edition or not, looks great, far better than it did on last gen.

Skyrim is an old game.
It has been released well over 5 years ago.
Everyone who wanted to play Skyrim already did so.

Basically it's the same as releasing COD Modern Warfare or World at War or Battlefield 3 for Switch.
Everyone who wanted to play it already did so.
Not to mention the games on the older consoles are a lot cheaper and look pretty much equally the same.
If not, Steam sales has them for 5 quid or something compared to the pretty much sure price of 50 quid for the Switch.

TL;DR Releasing Skyrim for switch is dumb.

Like @WiiUBricker said, it is just a test. Maybe fan response was not enough to have their consider redoing ES3.
SE does look considerably better but modding supoort right now is terrible. HD texture pack and even ENB does nothing, not to mention the stress it puts.
I bought a key for legendary edition for 11cad just recently.
But my main point is some people assuming it to similar to the ps3 version in terms of performance when it's on par with any version of se.

Ignored them. Wait for final release game, thought.
I don't really understand why people are so mad about a remake of a game 5 years ago. Both Sony and Microsoft remastered last gen game (the last of us only a year) not long after release of Xbox one and PS4.

I don't get it either. Are we supposed to just concede that if a game isn't brand new, it can't still be great? Fact is, Nintendo never got Skyrim, Skyrim is a great game, its still pretty relevant considering the PS4 and Xbone releases last year, a Switch release seems incredibly reasonable to me.
