Homebrew How to Tell if your in EmuNand Or SysNand?

So im still learning this CFW stuff. I have to Backup my SysNand using Emunand9 or Something like it,
But i need to be in EmuNand, How do i know if im in Sys or Emu?
I have AH9 loaded, with Verison 11.0.0-33u

I believe there is a string in system settings, near the version number, it should say Sys if you use a9lh sysnand patched, but if you have an emunand and launch it at boot, it should say something else, like emu or the like.

If you followed 3ds.guide then you don't have an emuNAND. EmuNAND is outdated so you won't have one unless you had CFW before last year and are being obstinate about keeping it (or you are keeping it for a specific purpose like having a region changed emuNAND).

To directly answer your question, System Settings will say "sys" before the firmware when you're on sysNAND and "emu" when you're on emuNAND.

awsome, so it does say Sys 11.0

Im trying to do a backup sysnand to transfer my stuff to a bigger SD card, DO i just use Hourglass9 then?

but making a SysNand backup is/should be done while updating thou right?

After Copy and pasting, Is there anything from the Arm9 that i can delete to free up some room?
