Homebrew .3DS SAV to cia saves

I've searched all over the internet, but I just can't find a way to convert my old sky3ds+ SAV files to CIA saves, so I can use them on the CIA version of the game, via JKSM. They all require the cartridge to be inserted to extract the save from there, but I don't have my sky3ds+ cart. What other method can i use my sav files and use them on my cias without the original cart?

I was in the same position as you and I never figured it out. I searched for weeks, but never found a solution. I ended up just restarting my games.

Replace "Gateway" with "Sky3DS", and replace "select game with rom menu" with "press buttons on your Sky3DS so that the right game is showing".
Just have the game selected in your cartridge slot.
The mentions of the rom menu are just so the right game can be read in the cartridge slot.

If you don't have the Sky3DS cartridge then it's impossible. JKSM needs a way to read the save files, the link between the console and the save file is the Sky3DS pretending to be the game (the console can see it) and the Sky3DS using that save file (through the game, the console can reach the save file).

You can try asking around if anybody would convert your saves for you who has a Sky3DS cartridge with the game of the right region on it. You probably couldn't get someone to convert your whole library but you might be able to at least get one or two of your most important saves
