Install MemTest86 on a bootable device (USB stick etc) and boot from that and let it run its tests.

the programm freezes after proceeding the first 16%

and no it doesnt give me any error codes.

and sometimes the program doesnt want to boot... and freezes during the multicore check :(

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

i have now noticed that the pc shuts sometimes down after pushing the power button and it shuty down after post ... sometimes after nvram initialization (61 Q)

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

i ve now recorded everything with my phone^^ ! what happanes..

now i notoced that it shows in the Q thing A0 and than 00(not used) and not 61! my eyes werent quick enough... i could see it clearly in the video i made!

it shuts down after Post! after post...before the windows bootlogo or the uefi boot screen appears!

well, when you manage to boot memor test there is a fail safe version, at least it happears when i launch linux and the grub boot shows up...
however i do remember it mentions a serial port, so maybe that's not an option...

anyway, a x99 system is expensive, and so expensive i would throw a dime and get into a computer store that has experience with this kind of stuff. (not one of thoose generic stores where they deal with customers that can't watch youtube because they didn't update flash player)

usually stores got a free diagnose policy... but i am also aware if they charge something theese stores usually charge like 80 bucks or something, which can make you go away...

if you do think the ram is the problem, for 35 bucks (maybe 10 or 20) on ebay you can get a cheap ass ram stick just to make sure... however as your computer is alraedy probably rocket skyed from your budget, this idea isn't that great... because it's another expense...
don't you have a friend or know someone who let you disassemble their pc and spend a day letting you do all the testing?

a whole week... -.- and they told me...that there s nothing that happened to them...only that the pc froze after launching two hardwaretests like vulcan ...(dont know if it is spelled that way hope you all know what program i mean )

if it stops, there is probably nothing you can do about it..

if you could manage to find someone with a pc that supports DDR4, you could put the ddr4 stick on their pc and run mem86+ so you would know that stick is faulty...

anyway, the lga 1151 board (rog) i am getting has a MEMOK button, i am guessing there is no such thing on your pc right?
this button suposly tests the best frequency for the rams or something..

also, did ya concider, ram sticks also heat on your setup? do you have a fan blowing air to them, maybe they get hot and then problems happens, just giving an idea...

check on the manual of the board, it detail explains how to use the MEM ok button
if you dont have the manual, IIRC it's an asus board right? just pop in asus website, and read the manual in PDF

seriously, do check the manual and read about this function, it will explains better than i can do...

Take them out and reinsert them again.
i would suggest just 1 stick of ram, memor test, if it crashes, remove that ram stick, place in other slot, test again.. repeat..

but i already talked about that MEM OK button, so i think he should do get the manual, and use taht first...

my previous board bitched about the ram sticks positions, they were all kignston but different sizes, frequencies and even models...
i had to try around into a combination that worked..
anyway, that board was bad so... (bad it burned 2 cpus, but i am not sure if it was the board or the PSU that cause it)

can't you read?
I told you both times to get your motherboard manual, is available at asus website in case you dont have it, before using that button
when you push the button the machine will do an unusual behavior, this is why i am telling you to read the manual. to read what it does and what you should expect...

here, in case you are unable to google it for some reason

sorry, i just didnt wanted to tell you how do the mem OK thin, i pointed to the manual because it has the official instructions how to use it. i could give you bad directions and do worse...
i remember that the system will be in a boot loop until it finds the right profile. and i dint want to take the blame in case it does a weird thing...

anyawy i just seen something in the manual
or system stability, use a more efficient memory cooling system to support a full
memory load (4 DIMMs) or overclocking condition.
• Memory modules with memory frequency higher than 2133MHz and their
corresponding timing or the loaded XMP profile is not the JEDEC memory standard.
The stability and compatibility of the memory modules depend on the CPU’s
capabilities and other installed devices.

maybe this hints for something?
anyway, are you sure the CPU or other parts like the power supply are good?

its alright ^^ i only wanted you to know that i am not an ideot and that i ve built a few pcs ^^ and helped a lot in finding errors!

how to know if the supply is dead:'/ i am not sure but i ve not pointed it out yet... cause sometimes my system has done wired things... for example i ve pushed the case too much and my system froze..:')

but i am nearly sure that the ram is broken... cause memtest freezes after 16%
and post boot is able to run and boot in windows.. and as mentioned... sometimes the pc shuts down... after post..imidiately after post!

and thats wired..
the power supply switch need to be turned of and on ...and than wait a few seconds.. and than shut on pc ...and than after post it shuts down it self... i ve created a strange thing xD
