Homebrew How do I update my Luma and FBI?

Through the Luma Updater app you installed during the guide, yes.

The guide it's self has mirror links to safe luma3ds releases so if you're paranoid use those for the time being

Can anyone confirm if lumaupdater is fully functional now? Don't really wanna open up my 3DS just to paste a 300 or so kb file on my SD card to update mine.

Afaik, there's no new update for Luma since October. The official build is still on 6.6.
There are of course many "nightly" builds from advanced users which are not important to us.
You should install a FTP apps to transfer files through wifi though.

I wouldn't update to a nightly build. Stay on the stable build.

I can confirm it now works. I'd still play it safe and not go to nightly yet.
