Can you tell us what you did to get it working? If someone else has the same problem you had they'd be able to solve it without asking in this thread.

Okay i deleted my Mariokart savefile so it stopped stalling and i got pokemon working too

I`ve got NDSL with "0168 - Mario Kart DS (U)" rom on R4iSDHC Dual Core. I patched rom witch WfcReplay. Option 'Erase Nintendo WFC Configuration' is grey, I cant click on it. I tried to follow next steps, but i get wrong configuration error. Is any way to fix it and let me play Mario Karts online?

Does the altwfc patcher breaks the rom compatibility with some flashcarts? I patched some games and they didn't worked on my r4 anymore :/

Unpatched rom:
-PC emulator: Works
-R4: Works

Patched rom:
-PC emulator: Works
-R4: Don't work

I have an r4i gold 3ds rts, using latest wood kernel.

Could you tell what the exact name of the Rom is? Some roms (even specific to a certain region) stop working after applying the patch, which is why I changed to using AR cheats instead. The compatibility list on altwfc's github page specifies some, like FFCC Echoes of Time.

I batch patched a lot of roms, and once I moved them to the flashcart, around 10 or more games just showed a white or black screen, but those same patched roms worked on the PC (no black or white screen), I don't remember all the names, but Yugioh 2011 and Professor Layton and the Curious Village were two of them, all the roms were European, but I'm almost sure that I tried using US roms and they didn't work either, but I'm not sure I'll try again tomorrow and will list all the games that didn't work once patched.

I advices to use AdmiralCurtis's WfcReplay ( https://github.com/Prof9/wfcreplay/releases ) to generate ActionReplay codes then editing your USRCHEAT.DAT - it seems almos riskless than patching the roms...
I'd used this method with Phantasy Star 0 since patching the rom was causing some troubles for me also, and worked like a charm! And it was with an NDSLite both on a R4 than a DSTWO+.

Quick question does anyone here know what i can do about error 31020 in pokemon diamond i keep trying to use mystery gift but it wont let me but in platinum and soulsilver the mystery gift works also if i recive a mystery gift on a save then i trade that mystery gift and delete that file on that new file would i be able to re obtain that event

I have a problem connecting my black 2 on alternative server.
I'm playing from a flashcard and I've used the "Wfc Replay patch "to create a cheat code to place together the ROM in the same folder.
I've tried the connection with the last DNS coordinate(I've placed it on both DNS and this should be ok) and then after connection it given me an error.
The error wasn't the normal one of the Nintendo server,but a simple general error of connection so I think I'm on the right road.

Anyway:
Is maybe a simple error or should I do something like erase my old save? The wifi connection wasn't when I did the game and I did it just few minutes ago

Hi,
You do not have to erase your old save, so don't do that. However, what you need to do is to go to the wifi settings then options and "erase Nintendo wfc configuration" from there. This will make sure you get a new friend code on the new server, and it's essential to get it to work anyways. The cheat you've made with wfc replay needs to be activated from your flashcard. I don't know what flashcard you have but you just need to enter cheats for that specific game and enable it. I have done this with a CycloDS, Acekard 2i, Ace3ds and R4iRTS (with YSmenu).

That should be all you have to do. And don't forget if you try to reconnect (which also means testing connection on wifi options) without having turned your ds on and off, then you'll get an error

Thank you anyway it still give me an error of connection.
In a first moment my 3ds has connection working very well,but it try to connect for something like a minute and then all fail.
Before I haven't activated any code but now I delete past connection,acrivated AP fix (I think is that) form Yt Menu and still have the same message.
In a first moment I've also changed the SSID to SoftAP(like is done for Desmume) but this don't helped me.
So?
