Hacking [Support] Using Gateway on 11.2 alongside A9LH w/Luma

Hello,

I recently picked up a gateway card so that I can update sumohax more easily and assumed that it would be simple to setup and use alongside my luma instillation. However this does not appear to be the case and was wondering if I could get some help.

When I did the initial setup. I followed the gateway + luma cfw guide from /r/3dshacks which can also be found here and can now boot into GW mode as far as seeing the dragon logo. However I can't seem to progress past that without having an infinite black screen.

What would be the cause of this, and how could I go about fixing it?

Everything on the system is stock besides my seed since I unbanned my system with the seed from a "junk" 3ds I had in my room.

I appreciate any help or suggestions, since currently I am a loss as to why this is happening

EDIT: This is on a New 3DS XL. There has never been an emunand on the system.

Unfortunately that is the guide that I followed already and hyperlinked in the main thread. Thank you for suggesting it however

Well that works so you must be doing something wrong.

I appreciate you trying to assist. However I do not think you read the entire thread and details I have put. If I am wrong then please tell me. Unfortunately the thread did indeed work. but only partially. Which is that bit I need help figuring out. Especially since I do get the gateway logo and am prompted to do L+R+Select just fine.

You need to hit L R Select every time you boot into GW system nand. Also make sure to never update the system when you do this

The infinite black screen comes after I use the button combination of L+R+Select

No. As I mentioned in the OP. Everything is stock besides the seed that I pulled off another 3ds of mine to unban the system.

Unfortunately I only seem to have the nulled version

For clarification before I try that, since I do not want GW to autoboot. I can just change the config to the following. Correct?

Holding L shows the bootctr9 logo but seems to be stuck at

it shouldnt. did you screw something in it up? ive never changed the auto boot so idk

Maybe I did mess the config up since it doesn't seem to want to autoboot into luma. Its telling me to is failing to load the default. Ill try merging them again once more but not change the boot config

Luma wasn't autobooting because I didn't have luma.bin on the root of my SD card. That was my mistake.

Still no idea why gateway is refusing however. Since I do have GW.bin there since I merged your exact zip
