Hacking n3ds won't start up. Just blinks blue for one second.

I have been following this guide to downgrade my o3ds 11.2.0.35E to 2.1 (https://3ds.guide/installing-arm9loaderhax) and got stuck at section V. But now it has a soft brick. When I want to turn it on it blinks blue for a second and does nothing. I followed this guide to repair () and got the o3ds start up again. But then I have to copy/paste a file (luma inside) and that's where I fail because I don't have FBI installed.
The only thing I have is a copy of my SD from when I was on 2.1, but my system says it's on 11.2.0.35E.
Someone suggested to go into Hourglass9 and restore my nand and keep a9lh. So I checked my sd-card and found NANDmin.bin but I don't want to do something I'm not sure about.

Can I do this? And if it works, can I proceed with the guide I was following?

Also, I have succesfully followed this guide () on a n3ds with 11.2.0.35E. During this process my n3ds was downgraded to 2.1, but now my system says 11.2.0.35E again. Is this for real this version? Because I don't want to accidentally update my n3ds and then brick it!

Don't follow video guides. They become outdated quickly and are hard to update.

Follow 3ds.guide in the future.

There's a section here that tells you how to inject fbi https://3ds.guide/installing-arm9loaderhax (just skip the a9lh stuff if you already have a9lh installed)

So when you did this process on your n3ds, did you restore your old nand at the end? If so, that's why you are back to 11.2

I only followed the youtubeguide because the 3ds.guide got me soft bricked.

And no that guide did not softbrick you (failing to boot without the sd card is not a softbrick btw), you just messed something up - at the end of the guide Plailect also has you copy arm9loaderhax.bin to the ctrnand. If you still want to inject fbi use the link that I provided.

Start with a clean sd card (nothing on it), and only place arm9loaderhax.bin from this link https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/releases on it.

You should boot.

Do the preparation section and follow everything but section 2.

Make a files9 folder on your sd card. Place the aeskeydb.bin and the fbi injectables in it (Find it yourself). Make a /luma/payloads directory on yourbsd card. Place the hourglass9.bin in it and rename it to start_hourglass9.bin. reinsert the sd card to your 3ds and boot it while holding the 'start' button. Inject fbi.

Because this happened when following the guide on 3ds.guide. When you have everything in picture, it's easier to follow. The n3ds I did with the video worked like a charm.

Yeah, tell tgat to the 3ds you're stuggling to revive ATM. It's not even a major problem.

You need to realise that people won't spoon feed you. You mess up that's your own fault. The guide cannot be any more simple. These videos have been the stuff causing the problems. If you don't know what you're doing then you shouldn't have attempted it

Blue light coming on for one second and then turning off isn't a "soft brick", it's A9LH working as expected when you don't have arm9loaderhax.bin on your SD card or NAND. All it means is that you failed to copy Luma's arm9loaderhax.bin to your SD card.

People tend to jump to the brick factor whenever something slightly goes wrong in an a9lh installation.

remove and reinsert sd, fixes for me. Randomly happens for me cause some times my 2ds doesnt detect my micro sd
see if it boots without sd

if you have the SD card in, then maybe its not recognizing the Luma .bin ( I believe loaderhax.bin or something like that).

Im not an expert at all, but check through the instructions again and youll find what you missed. I got scared too but retraced my steps and figured it out. I used Plailtic's guide btw.

If you followed plailects guide you should have a copy of the payload on the nand too

You're not bricked, you lack arm9loaderhax in teh root of your 3DS, get it and continue your installation.
