I just bought this new micro-sd card: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Samsung-...38790&wl11=online&wl12=44875081&wl13=&veh=sem

I first used a different micro sd adapter that was from Lexar but then my dumbass decided to go with the new one instead. When I did the whole formatting process for 128gb cards, I put it into the Samsung adapter. I insert it into my system but I didn't hear any click when inserting. When I turned it on, Luma3DS settings popped up. I don't know why I did but I fricking turned off the console. When I try turning it on again, blue light shows for a second then off. Now I try to use the old micro sd again in hope that everything is fine. And then............it fucking gets stuck. I get some tweezers try to pull it out and finally came out after raging. Then I put the old sd card adapter with my old micro sd card in there and the system STILL SHOWS THE BLUE LIGHT THEN TURNS OFF. At this point I'm panicking. Then I take out sd card and turn on console. Boots perfectly. After a while of inserting and reinserting sd card, the system starts to boot with it but still doesn't detect sd card. Now I don't think that my sd card slot broke. I think I corrupted something with Luma/A9LH and now I'm thinking of formatting my 3ds. Someone please give me more suggestions. I think formatting is a good first option since nothing else is working and my only other option is to tear down my 3DS and replace sd card tray. Also, if I format, will my 3ds brick or anything corrupt since I have Luma/A9LH installed on sysNand? What saves can I back up as well?

EDIT: When system boots with SD card inserted, now it actually goes into home menu but it says "Could not detect an SD Card. The software on the SD Card could not be displayed."

Delete or replace the /arm9loaderhax.bin from the old sdcard.
But it could be a hardware issue

Make sure the SD is in Fat32, if it is above 32gb use an external software. I've attached the software I use. It should work but if you're still having issues then pm me

Yes of course. The main problem right now is booting with my original sd card with all the hacks and my games. I'm not sure whether its a hardware issue or me screwing up the hack by turning off console after the Luma configuration screen popped up.
If that's the case it sounds to me like it is a sd card issue. I faced the same problem with a few SD cards. Plug it into your computer and clear it for errors. This can be done if the SD card comes up with "Errors have been detected on this device".

Yeah some will. Like with mine they read on my PC but won't read on the 3DS. I'm not sure what causes the issue but try this:
Insert the sd card into a card reader and into your PC.
Go to My Computer and note what driver the SD is assigned to.
Run CMD as an administrator.
Type "chkdsk" followed by the driver letter and /f (If your SD card is in Drive G for example. First line should look like this "chkdsk G: /f")
Hit Enter
Should work

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

The 3DS can only read FAT32 the default windows formatter can't format to FAT32 if the card is over 32GB. Happend to me twice with 64GB SD cards.
OP said he's already formatted to Fat32

Maybe, I do know that does cause a few issues. I've faced some issues when using quick format. Sometimes the sd isn't read. Idk but he should try both a quick and normal format
It was the opposite for me. A normal format took a while and still wasn't readable by the 3DS.

Sorry to say guys but nothing is working involving the sd card. I think my only option is a complete system format. I want to do this as soon as I can and I have nothing to lose. Just tell me which saves I can back up. I have important saves for Pokemon X, Animal Crossing New Leaf, Super Smash Bros, Pokemon Alpha Sapphire. Thats about it. I would reinstall Luma3DS and freeShop when I'm done so that solves the problems concerning my games I legit paid for. I'd like to know if formatting will affect my system since I'm using sysNand

Use JKSM and back up everything you need. If you format with A9LH and luma it won't get rid of the hack just replace the files after (So all the require hack files) and you should be good to go. Just inject FBI into the h&S app and reinstall all the cia files you had

How can I use JKSM if my system doesn't even detect my old sd card?
